Escambia County Commission Cancels COW Meeting Again

The Escambia County Commission has canceled the Tuesday, September 19 planned Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting.

The COW is a workshop type meeting held for commission discussion, but no votes are taken.

Canceling the meeting has been the norm this year.

The BOCC will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, September 21 at 9 a.m.

    One of our commissioners, he must had had a serious margin call.

    Less workload, less pay.

    That means a) you have a county commission who despise each other or their constituents (or both) to the point they don’t want to get together until they have to or b) they have figured out how to have conversations without these workshops, most likely contrary to the State’s Sunshine Laws. But that is just a guess.
