Allen Memorial UMC  Fall Festival
Allen Memorial United Methodist Church will hold their Cantonment Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25 from 10 a.m. at Highway 29 and Neal Road. There will be free childrens’ activities, vendor booths, smokes sausage sandwiches, turkey legs, pulled pork sandwiches, a bake sale and more.

Turtle Point Open House

Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Homecoming
Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church will have Homecoming on Sunday, October 26.  Worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m.  There will not be an early morning worship service or Sunday School for this day only.  Brother Darryl Black from Farm Hill Baptist Church will bring the morning message.  There will be a covered dish luncheon immediately following the worship service. 170 W. Apostolic Faith Church Pastor Celebration
Apostolic Faith Church in Century is holding a celebration for nine years of service for Pastor Henry E. Swanston on October 24 at 7 p.m. An appreciate dinner will be October 25 at 4 p.m. Appreciation services will be held October 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m.  300 West Highway 4 in Century.

Molino Community Fall Festival
A community wide fall festival will be held on Friday, October 31, at Victory Assembly of God church in Molino from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be lots of food, fun, games, trunk-or treat, and a hayride. The event is sponsored by Highland Baptist Church, Victory Assemby of God, Crossfaith Church and Molino First Assembly of God. The event is free and everyone is invited.

Tate Lady Aggie Softball Camp
The Tate High School Aggies Softball team will host a camp on Saturday, November 1, at the school’s softball field. There will be a skills and hitting clinic from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and a pitching/catching clinic from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The cost is $30 for one session or $40 for both sessions and lunch. Dogwood Park Baptist Church Peanut Boil/Fall Festival
Dogwood Park Baptist Church at 3301 Highway 97, Molino, will hold its annual Peanut Boil and Fall Festival on Saturday, November 1 from 1-5 p.m. There will be games, face painting, food and entertainment by the country, gospel and bluegrass group Rollin Tide. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Northview Baseball Camp With MLB Player Caleb Gindle
Caleb Gindl of the Milwaukee Brewers will present a fall baseball clinic for ages 9-17 at Northview High School on Saturday, November 8 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Northview baseball complex. Participants will receive professional instruction and on the field experience while supporting the Northview Chiefs baseball program. The cost is $40 per participant. Walnut Hill Volunteer Fire Department
The Walnut Hill Volunteer Fire Department annual fish fry will be held Saturday, November 8, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the fire station. Plates are $7 each and include catfish or grilled chicken, hush puppies, baked beans, cole slaw, dessert and drink. Enjoy baked goods and TCBY.  The bloodmobile will also be onsite.

Autumn Soiree and Silent Auction
St. Monica’s Episcopal Church in Cantonment will hold an Autumn Soiree and Silent Auction on Saturday, November 8 beginning at 6 pm.  The event will feature a strolling dinner at the church, located at 699 South Highway 95-A in Cantonment. Many items for auction including homemade quilts, artwork, vintage jewelry, home decor and more. Admission is $10 at the door. Dress is casual. All proceeds are for playground renovations.

Cantonment Arts & Crafts Festival and Car Show

Concession Stand Manager Needed
NWE Bradberry Park is currently accepting bids for a Concession Stand Supervisor. This person will need to provide at least (2) two additional workers. This person will be responsible for maintaining the entire concession stand during the 2015 ball season and working closely with the Concession Stand Manager(s). The season will run from approximately mid-February through the end of May. The hours will be from 4:30 until 9:00, four nights a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) with an occasional Saturday. Quotes and any questions can be emailed to Ashley Long @
