West Florida Public Library Book Sale
The Friends of West Florida Public Library will hold their Big Winter Book Sale January 23-25 at the Pensacola Library, located at 239 N. Spring Street. Shop Friday, January 23 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. for a $5 admission fee. Sale hours on Saturday, January 24, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, January 25, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and fill a bag for $7 per bag. No admission fee on Saturday or Sunday. Sale items include books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl.
Doodle Art Club at Century Library
Learn how to put squiggles, lines and other shapes together to create art at the Century Library on Saturday, January 24, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. All supplies provided and all ages welcome.
Belly Laugh Day at the Molino Library
Celebrate Belly Laugh Day at the Molino Library on Saturday, January 24, at 11 a.m. with a showing of Monster’s Inc and other activities sure to elicit grins and giggles.
Molino Park Elementary LIteracy Night
Molino Park Elementary Family Literacy Night will be Thursday, January 29, from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
Jim Allen Elementary Literacy Night
Jim Allen Elementary School will hold a Literacy Night on Thursday, January 29 from 5:30 until 7 p.m. There will be free food, free books and literacy games.
Century Neighborhood Watch
The Century Neighborhood Watch will meet on Monday, February 9 at 6 p.m.at 11 East Highway 4 (near the R/R tracks). This is an updated meeting location.
GED Classes
GED classes are held Wednesday and Thursday evenings during the month of January at 6 p.m. each night at the Molino library. This is an open enrollment program so students may enroll anytime during the semester. A TABE test is required for enrollment. Sensory Saturdays at Molino Library
The Molino Library Sensory Saturday will be on the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. These hours provide a safe and friendly environment designed for individuals who are neurodivergent, have special needs and their families. A calming sensory room filled with comfortable seating, sensory activities, books, toys, engaging fidgets and fun brain games. Relax and play for the whole time or come and go as you please. Ages toddlers to 13 years old are recommended but the whole family is welcome. The library is located at 6450-A Highway 95A in Molino.
Molino Mid-County Neighborhood Watch
The Molino Mid-County Neighborhood watch meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Molino Community Center.
