Unearth A Story at the Century Library
Dan Christopher and Friend will “Unearth a Story” at the Century and Molino Libraries. A fun-filled show that will delight every single member of the audience. Combining talents in ventriloquism, puppetry, magic and comedy, Century Library on Thursday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Bits and Pieces Puppet Theater Presents: Puss in Boots At Century Library
Bits and Pieces Puppet Theater Presents: Puss in Boots at Monday, July 13, 3 p.m. at the Century Library. “Puss In Boots” is a 35-minute musical retelling of Charles Perrault’s classic tale. I play all the parts, sing the songs, and bring the marionettes to life in a magical journey where Puss helps little brother Nat by defeating a wicked Ogre, rescuing a kidnapped Princess, and transforming them both from Paw-pets to AristoCats. Along the way, Puss learns that honesty is the best policy—step-by-step, one step at a time.

Bits and Pieces Puppet Theater Presents: The Selfish Giant’s Garden
Bits and Pieces Puppet Theater Presents: The Selfish Giant’s Garden on Tuesday, July 14 at 3 p.m. at the Molino Library. “The Selfish Giant’s Garden” is a 35-minute retelling of Oscar Wilde’s famous fairytale about a giant who learns it’s never too late to share. The production features lathe-turned wooden marionettes. The puppet’s simple wooden surface is left so children can use their imagination. The hair is made of rope, the eyes of shiny brads. The string puppet children are round and smooth while the Giant is boxy and rough. The musical show contrast selfishness and sharing. How does a Selfish Giant learn to share?

In June, Lego Night will be every Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Molino Library and every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Century Library.

Sensory Saturdays at Molino Library
The Molino Library Sensory Saturday will be on the first Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. These hours provide a safe and friendly environment designed for individuals who are neurodivergent, have special needs and their families. A calming sensory room filled with comfortable seating, sensory activities, books, toys, engaging fidgets and fun brain games. Relax and play for the whole time or come and go as you please. Ages toddlers to 13 years old are recommended but the whole family is welcome. The library is located at 6450-A Highway 95A n Molino.

Molino Mid-County Neighborhood Watch
The Molino Mid-County Neighborhood watch meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Molino Community Center.
