Northview High School Advisory
Northview High School needs volunteers for our 2016-2017 School Advisory Council. The council meets four times each year after school. We encourage any interested parents and community members to call (850) 327-6681 ext. 221 and let us know of your interest to serve.

Roy Hyatt Environmental Center Open House
The Roy Hyatt Environmental Center Annual Open House will be held Saturday, October 1, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1300 Tobias Road in Cantonment. Hike trails into the bog, stroll through the butterfly garden, climb aboard the bird bus to bird watch, and enjoy many other activities. Peer through telescopes with the Escambia Amateur Astronomy Association. There will be a silent auction of artwork and other items. Food will be available for a small donation.

Area Wide Camp Meeting
Enon Baptist Church will host an area wide camp meeting, October 6 – 9. Services begin at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Guest speakers include Dr. Joe Arthur, Dr. Ricky Gravely and Rev. Josh Adams, as well as other local pastors. Everyone is invited to attend. Gonzalez United Methodist Annual Fall Festival
Gonzalez United Methodist will host its 8th Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event is a family friendly event . There will be an indoor arts and crafts show. Children can enjoy a variety of free outdoor activities including hayrides, face painting, bouncy houses and more. Listen to live music throughout the day. There will be festival food available for purchase at our food concessions. The church is located at 2026 Pauline Street in Cantonment. Benefit Fish Fry
A benefit fish fry for Kay Byars, wife of Northview High School FFA sponsor, Perry Byars, will be held at Northview High school on Monday, October 10, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Orders will be accepted until October 3. Plates are $7 each and includes two fish fillets, cole slaw, baked beans, hush puppies, and dessert. Orders of fifteen (15) or more may be delivered. Orders can be picked up at the NHS cafeteria. To place an order contact Vicki Godwin at (850) 327- 6681 at extension 222. Payments can be sent to NHS to attention of Mrs. Vicki Godwin by October 7, or at time of pickup or delivery. Plainview Baptist Church Homecoming
Plainview Baptist Church will celebrate their 67th homecoming Sunday, October 16, at 10:30 a.m. A covered dish lunch will follow services.

West Florida High School Softball Camp

Community Block Party in Barrineau Park
Enon Baptist Church will host a community block party at Barrineau Park School and Historical Society on Saturday, October 29, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Gospel singing by Caleb Dennis, The Henderson’s, Dan Kirkland, and Sandy Glass. Great food and activities for kids of all ages. Everyone is welcome. The Barrineau Park School is located at 6055 Barrineau Park School Rd in Molino.

WFHS Softball 2nd Annual Golf Tournament
West Florida High School Softball will host their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, November 5, Marcus Pointe Golf Course, 2500 Oak Pointe Dr.in Pensacola. Four man scramble format. Check in and registration begins at 12 p.m. Shotgun start at 1 p.m. with dinner and door prizes at 5 p.m. Cost is $75 per player and includes green and cart fees, range balls and goodie bags. Pine Forest UMC Arts & Crafts Festival and Car Show
Pine Forest United Methodist Church will host their 27th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival and Car Show on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The day features over 160 arts, crafts & other vendors, food, children’s activities, and live music. North Escambia Bee Association Meetings
The North Escambia Bee Association holds their monthly meetings at the Molino Community Complex on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are for both experienced and inexperienced beekeepers who want to stay current on modern beekeeping practices. There is a covered dish supper for those that want to participate. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the scheduled topics about bees. Enon Baptist Church Cemetery
Those with relatives buried in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery are asked to make a donation for upkeep and mowing, Checks should be mailed to church treasurer Roy Thomas at 8530 Highway 97A, Walnut Hill, FL 32568.

Molino Zumba Classes

Atmore Masonic Lodge Meetings
The Atmore Masonic Lodge #549 meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Dinner is at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.

Century Caregiver Support
Council on Aging of West Florida hosts a Century Caregiver Support Group meeting on the third Thursday of each month a 6 p.m. at Century Care Center. There is no cost and the public is invited. County residency is not required to attend.

Cub Scout Meeting Molino
