Miracle League Turkey Fry Fundraiser
The Miracle League of Pensacola will hold their annual turkey fry fundraiser on Wednesday, November 25, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. at John R. Jones Sports Complex Miracle League Field located at 555 East Nine Mile Road in Pensacola. Enter at the east end of the park at the corner of Nine Mile Road and Airway by Gulf Coast Seafood. To have your turkey fried it you must be 100% defrost and clean the turkey and remove the inside packing; know the weight; and be on time for your scheduled appointment. A minimum $20 donation per turkey is necessary to help cover our cost and any additional donations will benefit MLP. Make your reservation early as the number of turkeys for frying is limited. An Evening in Bethlehem
The 6th annual Evening in Bethlehem will be held on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Gonzalez United Methodist Church Sanctuary. Molino Christmas Parade
The Molino Christmas parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 5 at 11 a.m. The parade will start at the west end of Crabtree Church Road and end at Molino Ballpark, where Santa will be waiting to visit with all the good little boys and girls. Pre-register at Jimmy’s Grill or day of the parade. Registration cost will be $30 for floats/trailers, $20 for vehicle and $10 for horses. Line-up for the parade is 10:15 a.m. All proceeds will benefit children in need in the community. Donations such as toys and non-perishable food can be dropped off at Jimmy’s Grill. Pancakes with Santa
The 6th annual “Pancakes with Santa” hosted by the Cordova Rotary Club will be held Saturday, December 5 from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Gulf Coast Kid’s House, located at 3401 N. 12th Avenue in Pensacola. Children of all ages are invited to enjoy a morning of holiday fun with Santa, Mrs. Claus and Santa’s elves. Tickets are $10 and include a pancake breakfast and children’s activities. Children 3 and under are free. Proceeds will benefit Gulf Coast Kid’s House. Emmanuel – God with Us Musical
The First Pentacostal Church of Pensacola will present “Emmanuel – God with Us”, a musical drama nightly at 7:30 p.m. beginning Friday, December 18 through Sunday December 20. The musical tells about the birth, the life, and the sacrifice of Jesus from the point of view of a humble inn keeper. Features live music by the musicians and choir of First Pentacostal Church. Council on Aging of West Florida hosts a Century Caregiver Support Group meeting on the third Thursday of each month a 6 p.m. at Century Care Center. There is no cost and the public is invited. County residency is not required to attend.
