A ribbon cutting and open house will be held at the new Children of Hope Daycare Center at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church on North Century Boulevard at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 29.

NWE Football, Cheerleading Registration Underway
NWE Football and Cheer 2015 registration will be held Saturday, May 30, June 6, June 13 and June 20, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Gilley’s Country Store in Bratt. Football age divisions (age as of August 1, 2015) and costs are as follows: freshmen (5/6) $55; sophomore (7/8) $65; juniors (9/10) $75; seniors (11/12) $85. Football players who sign up in May receive a $10 discount. Cheerleading age divisions (age as of August 1, 2015) and costs are $15 plus cost of uniform: freshmen (5/6); sophomore (7/8); juniors (9/10); seniors (11/12). Molino Crawfish Festival
The Molino Crawfish Festival will be held Saturday, May 30 from 11 a.m. until at 6490 Highway 29 in Molino, next to Jimmy’s Grill. The family-oriented event will include games, bounce houses, plenty of crawfish and more. Vendor spaces are still available. Call Van at (850) 232-6473 to reserve a space. Youth Football Camp
The West Florida High School QB Club is sponsoring a youth football camp for kids age 8-13 on Saturday May 30th from 8:00 a.m. noon at Woodham Middle School stadium in Pensacola and the cost is $40 (includes T-shirt and sports drink). Camp participants will be coached on the fundamentals of several different offensive and defensive positions by the WFHS coaching staff and players.
