Beekeepers Association Annual Seminar
The North Escambia Beekeepers Association is holding its annual seminar on February 24, 2018 at the Molino Community Center from 8am – 5pm. A beginner’s course and an advanced course will be offered. Tickets are $25 per person including lunch before February 14, 2018. Tickets can be purchased through Paypal on our website at Tickets will be $35 per person after February 14 or at the door. Beef Cattle and Forage Bootcamp
UF/IFAS Extension in Escambia County will hold a Beef Cattle and Forage Bootcamp on Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Escambia County 4-H Livestock Facility located at 5701 Hwy 99 in Molino. Registration is $10 per person or $15 per couple. Registration is free for 4-H & FFA youth. Registration will be on site. RSVP to (850) 291-7173. The beef cattle bootcamp is a hands-on learning opportunity for producers in the areas of cattle handling, management, nutrition & forages. Video Gaming Tournament
The Flomaton Lions Club is hosting their first ultimate video gaming tournament on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Flomation Community Center. Entry fee is $20 per person. Players can register as an individual or as a team. The three games to be played in order are Street Fighter 5, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and Mario Kart 8. There will be concessions for sale at the event and a cash prize. All ages and gaming abilities welcome. The Flomaton Community Center is located at 600 McCurdy St., in Flomaton. Gonzalez UMC/Branden Penegar Memorial Car Show
Gonzalez United Methodist Church will hold their 5th annual Branden Penegar Memorial Car Show which will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018. The fee to enter a car in the carshow is $25 and registration will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on March 17. The fee to enter a car for display only is $15. The event is free and everyone is invited. There will be live music and food and refreshments will be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the GUMC Youth Group. The church is located at 2026 Pauline Street in Cantonment. Coon Hill Day 5K and Half Mile Fun Run
The Coon Hill Day 5K and Half Mile Fun Run will take place on April 7, 2018 in Jay, FL. The 5K run will start at 8 a.m. at Coon Hill Cemetery on Mineral Springs Road. The Half-Mile Fun Run will start at 9:15 a.m. Packet pick-up will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, 10995 Chumuckla Highway in Jay or at the race site on race day. Early registration ends on April 3 (postmarked or online). You may still register on Friday, April 6, during packet pick-up for $20. Registration will be $25 day of race. The Molino Mid-County Historical Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Molino Community Center. Everyone is welcome.

North Escambia Bee Association Meetings
The North Escambia Bee Association holds their monthly meetings at the Molino Community Complex on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are for both experienced and inexperienced beekeepers who want to stay current on modern beekeeping practices. There is a covered dish supper for those that want to participate. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the scheduled topics about bees. Molino Zumba Classes

Atmore Masonic Lodge Meetings
The Atmore Masonic Lodge #549 meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Dinner is at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.

Century Caregiver Support
Council on Aging of West Florida hosts a Century Caregiver Support Group meeting on the third Thursday of each month a 6 p.m. at Century Care Center. There is no cost and the public is invited. County residency is not required to attend.
