Failed Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

January 24, 2014

A suspect has been arrested in an armed robbery attempt that the victim stopped by pulling out his own firearm.

Sean Robert Dvorak, 18, was charged with first degree felony armed robbery. He was booked into the Escambia County Jail without bond Thursday afternoon.

About 6:40 Monday evening, deputies responded to a residence on Air Blanc Circle in reference to a shots fired complaint. Deputies said Dvorak, who was known to the victim, came over to the home and attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint.

The victim pulled his firearm in self-defense and was able to prevent the robbery.

Actually the Wild West and Dodge City were very, very peaceful and the shootouts depicted in Hollywood’s movies where, well, staged for good movie making not for historical content.

Why was the Wild West and Dodge City so peaceful? Because people DID have firearms and help ensure the peace. Washington DC, Chicago and friends today all have many times rate of violence than in the “old days”.

Sounds like the perp got off light. The would be victim could have ended it all with the squeeze of his trigger.

And yes, Violent Crime has gone down alot. More thugs are realizing that not everyone is un-armed and easy prey.

Actually, the Violent Crime rate in the US has fallen to historic lows. The maiinstream media is just glorifying every gun-related crime to further its own agenda.

We seem to be headed back to the days of the Wild West and this is Dodge City.
