A youth leader from Victory Assembly of God in Molino was one of a dozen winners of tickets and “meet and greet” passes for a Toby Mac concert in Mobile Sunday night.

Youth Pastor Jenny Miller and her husband Sean Miller won two tickets and the “meet and greet” passes from Power 88 radio in Mobile. They were nominated by Victory youth member Kayla Miles.

Sunday night’s concert featured contemporary Christian artists Toby Mac,  Relient K and Family Force 5 at the Mobile Civic Center.

A portion of the email that Kayla wrote to Power 88 nominating Jenny Miller for the tickets is below.

Hi my name is Kayla Miles and I would like to nominate my Youth Pastor for
the contest.

Her name is Jenny Miller and her husband Sean Miller they have been married
for a year and to me they are like another set of parents. I can tell them
anything and they will listen, not turn their backs.

They came about a year and a half ago around my birthday I was very excited
when we got new youth pastors because some awkward things had been going on
in our church.

We attend Victory Assembly of God in Molino, Florida. The youth group name
is Impact Student Ministries.

    To Jen Allen:
At our youth camp last year we had a Christian Comedian that made the comment that he is tired of everyone using the Lord’s name in vain, what if people used other people’s name in vain… for example budah. It is really just an inside joke in our youth now and didn’t mean any harm. Thanks for the comments… to everyone! Ya’ll are great, we appreciate all the prayers and support.

    God Bless
Impact Student Ministries- Turn your world upside down!

Congratulations to Jennifer and Sean, I have been traveling a lot lately and just now catching up on email. You have a special calling working with the youth of your church. This love and bond with the youth group will last a lifetime. It’s wonderful this little girl thinks so much of you both. God Bless you both and the youth you work with.

    P.S.
Kayla’s note was very sweet. It’s good to know our youth has someone that is rooted and founded in Jesus to whom they can turn to.
God bless you all & Jenny & Sean, keep up the good work!

Sebastian Jones comment: Oh my budah….what is that about? Hopefully, just a saying teenagers have, but it just doesn’t sound right coming from an Assembly of God youth. I attend First Assembly in Phenix City, AL. With a reference to Budah, it just didn’t sound so good.
    Anyway, glad you guys won.
