After spending about 95% of my life on the Gulf coasty interest in hockey was limited, until I went to a Pensacola Ice Pilots game, yes Pilots not Flyers, and I have become a fan. If you have never been, I encourage you to make the trip. The attendance numbers are not inflated to appease the masses and if you are attending your first game, with little understanding, there are pmety of fans to educate you on the rules.

There was a time when elected officials tried to eliminate hockey and were met with an angry community. Even during the seasons that are not the most competitive, there is an average attendance of well over 3000, again, not inflated numbers.

Check the website for special nights, including $5 ticket nights and get out and enjoy the evening. The games are usually over by 9:00 and law enforcement does a fantastic job of directing traffic to ensure the process of exiting the venue is low stress.

LETS GO FLYERS! GAME ON, EH!
