Century Town Hall Returns To Normal Operations After Staffing Shortage Closure
February 26, 2024
The Century Town Hall will be on a normal operating schedule as of Monday, February 27.
The town hall was closed beginning Wednesday, February 21 due to a staffing shortage due to illnesses.
Because town hall was not open to accept utility payments, the town said there will be no disconnections this month.

“Normal”? What’s “normal” for the town of Century government…?
Why are they charging a late fee? C’mon now. Because they need the money.
CROOKS! Tried to pay my bill last week by phone (because I was out of town. )and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Went by first thing today and now I have a 30$ late change on my account. Was told they couldn’t drop the late fee per the Mayor.
The Town of Century is a joke! The laughing stock of Escambia County!
CROOKS! I was out of town last week and tried to call in my payment… due to them not being open I was not able to make my payment. So I went by first thing today and now I have a late fee on my bill and was told they couldn’t take it off per the Mayor. Town of Century is a joke! Laughing stock of Escambia County!
The city is still charging late fees even though they were not open. They said that it was because they had a drop box you could have put your payment in. I asked when they would have processed the payment from the drop box she said probably TODAY when I called to make my payment!! Unacceptable.
Sick? Likely all went to Atmore on Century bank account
JUST DROP THE LATE FEE..
IF YOU DON’T PAY TURN IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!
