James Allen Grant “Jimmy”

James Allen Grant “Jimmy”, 72, of Panama City, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born in DeFuniak Springs, Florida on September 6, 1950.

Jimmy served his country in the United States Army. He loved fishing, spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and friends. He was co-owner with Curtis Murphy with GM Appliance and Warehouse, worked with Von Ray in cabinets, and was the maintenance man with Flowers Bakery Co.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Mae Ola Cumbie Grant; father, James Bennett Grant; grandson, Jarvius Lee; and best friend, Von Ray.

Those left to treasure his memory, wife of 25 years, Pamela Simpson Grant; children, Allan Grant, Tina Grant, Wesley Grant, Angela Grant, and Amber Grant; father and grandfather to, Lexie Lee Grant; stepdaughter, Sabrina Anderson; grandkids, Chad, Dillan, Jorja, Katie Robert, Jasmine, Tranessa, and Toriana; cousins, John Raymond, Charles (Tina), Linda (Lewis), Emmett (Cindy), Glenn, Kat (David), and Chester (Derhonda); brother-in-law, Gary (Brenda); and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers.
