SUV Ends Up Suspended On Power Pole Wires Following Pensacola Boulevard Crash

October 2, 2026

There were no injuries reported in a two vehicle crash that left one vehicle nearly vertical on power pole guy wires Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred just before 1 p.m. on Pensacola Boulevard just north of Nine Mile Road and involved a passenger vehicle and an SUV.

The SUV came to a stop nearly nose-down, suspended near-vertically on guy wires from a power pole. Everyone in the SUV was reportedly able to get out of the vehicle.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating and has not yet released the cause of the crash.

Florida Power & Light (FPL) reported about two dozen customers without power in the area following the incident.
