School Closures Due To Hurricane Isaias

Educational institutions across the area are closing due to Hurricane Isaias.

Public schools in Escambia County will be closed on Friday. Students will return on Tuesday, as Monday is a student holiday for Columbus Day. Afterschool activities, including indoor and outdoor athletics, have been canceled for Friday.

Public schools in Santa Rosa County will be closed both Thursday and Friday. All district and school-sponsored activities scheduled for Saturday are also canceled.

Public schools in Escambia County, Alabama, will be closed on Friday. Students will return Wednesday, October 14 after a previously scheduled fall break on Monday and Tuesday.

All Pensacola State College locations will be closed on Friday and Saturday. This includes all classes, events, campus activities, and online courses. All classes, including online, are canceled beginning Thursday.

Pensacola Christian Academy will be closed on Friday. This includes all classes, events and campus activities. Nonessential personnel, as defined by your division head, do not need to report to campus on Thursday, Oct. 8.
