17 Arrested In Multi-Agency Human Trafficking And Prostitution Sting In Atmore
October 5, 2026
A multi-agency two-day operation conducted at an Atmore hotel resulted in the arrest of 17 people on charges related to human trafficking and solicitation, according to Atmore Police Department Major Charles Thompson. Two of those arrested have been an Alabama lawmaker and a school board member.
The operation was conducted from October 1 to October 3, 2026.
“To resolve speculation, the hotel was not the Wind Creek Casino-Atmore. For priority over the investigation, and to reserve future operations, the hotel will not be listed at this time,” Thompson said.
Thompson said the investigation reflects a coordinated effort among participating agencies to target crimes involving human trafficking and the sale and exploitation of victims. The operation extended deep into the online environment, where individuals believed they were communicating with a victim or real people through online advertisements, but were instead communicating with law enforcement.
According to Thompson, three of the individuals arrested were illegally in the United States.
The individuals arrested in connection with the operation and their charges include:
- Nicolas Gadson — human trafficking first degree and attempting to elude
- Brett Easterbrook — human trafficking first degree and soliciting prostitution
- Dominque Mobley — soliciting prostitution
- Kory Wesley — human trafficking first degree, and attempting to elude
- Benjamin Holman — soliciting prostitution
- Quintero Francisco — soliciting prostitution
- Juan Teletor-Siana — soliciting prostitution
- Cody Jackson — human trafficking first degree
- Timothy Tucker — soliciting prostitution
- George Dance — human trafficking first degree
- Elijah Roy — human trafficking first degree
- Bharath Vijakumar — human trafficking first degree
- Algeber De La Cruz Cruz — soliciting prostitution
- Terry Long — human trafficking first degree
- Joshua Martin — soliciting prostitution
- Charles Mooney — soliciting prostitution
- Austin Berry — soliciting prostitution
Brett Easterbrook is an Alabama state representative, and Kory Wesley was Satsuma (AL) City Schools board president until he resigned on Friday following his arrest.
Thompson said that due to the logistics of transporting multiple defendants from operation locations, the incarceration times displayed in jail records may not reflect the full length of time each individual was in law enforcement custody prior to booking procedures, Thompson said. He added that not one individual was allowed to bond any differently than outlined in state law.
Participating agencies included the Atmore Police Department, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (Alabama), Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, Poarch Tribal Police Department, Bay Minette Police Department, Flomaton Police Department, and the Brewton Police Department.
All mugshots were not immediately available at time of publication.

@Tom, that’s a big old 10-4 good buddy!
Great work to all involved with getting this bunch out of the community! Now if the courts will do their jobs by keeping every one of this gang behind bars for MANY years to come and not giving them just a slap on the wrist.
Good job cleaning up the street.. these people are sick and disgusting.. throw the book at them..lock um up
I guess I shouldn’t be shocked, but I am. Thank you all in law enforcement for getting these monsters.
Thank God and thank all our local law enforcement officers in helping to rescue all the victims of this horrible scourge in our region and the world. Keep praying for those that are still held captive.
