ECUA Reports 3,600 Gallon Sewage Spill On East Kingsfield Road

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority (ECUA) reported a sanitary sewer overflow on Wednesday on East Kingsfield Road.
The 3,600 gallon spill occurred after a contractor bored through force main at 1425 East Kingsfield Road, according to ECUA, with 3,500 gallons recovered.
The spill occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
After crews recovered the remains of the spill, they cleaned and sprayed the area with biocide, according to ECUA.

ECUA should have sprayed the Contractor with biocide. There’s a LOT of stinking contractors on our roads lately. Thank you ECUA.
