Northview Hosts Sold Out Regional Semifinal Game Tonight; Here’s What Fans Need To Know Before Arriving

Northview Chiefs baseball will host Paxton at 7 p.m. today in a regional semifinal, and here’s what you need to know:
- The game is sold out. Due to district guidelines the game is limited to 50% capacity.
- All fans are to enter through the bus loop(main gate located in front of school).
- Have tickets ready upon arrival, tickets will be checked at the gate before parking.

Tate FFA Alumni Rodeo Is Tonight And Saturday; Here’s How To Win Tickets (And How To Buy Online)

The 30th Annual Tate FFA Alumni Foundation Rodeo will be Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 at the Escambia County Equestrian Center on Mobile Highway.

Advance tickets are available at Farm and Nursery Mart, Hill Kelly Dodge, Barnes Feed Store Pensacola and Tate High School. Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for children in advance and $12 and $5 at the gate. Children age 5 and under will be admitted free.
The ticket giveaway contest has ended. Winners were:

Highway 297A Reopened After Emergency Closure; Will Close Again At 7 AM Thursday

Highway 297A in Cantonment has reopened following an emergency closure Wednesday morning, but a lane is scheduled to close again Thursday morning for repairs.
About daybreak Wednesday, the northbound lane of Highway 297A at the Highway 97 intersection (map below) was closed after an existing depression in the roadway worsened. Temporary repairs were completed, and the road was opened by about 10 a.m.
The northbound lane of Highway 297A will be closed again beginning about 7 a.m. Thursday so that permanent repairs can be made. This may also lead to traffic delays at the intersection of Highway 297A and Highway 97. Drivers are asked to use an alternative route Thursday morning.
