Dangerous Heat Index Values With Afternoon Storm Chances Through Friday

Dangerously hot conditions and typical late-summer storm chances will dominate the North Escambia area over the next few days, with heat index values expected to peak between 106 and 110 degrees through Thursday before storm chances slightly ease heading into the weekend.
A heat advisory is in effect for Wednesday.
