Christy Lynne Burkett Neff

Christy Lynne Burkett Neff, 67, of Atmore, AL, passed away on July 31, 2026. She was born on February 26, 1959. to Roy and Betty Marshall Burkett. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Atmore. Christy was a very caring person and enjoyed taking care of her aunt, brother and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, David Lee Neff.
Christy is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Matthew) Butters; two grandsons, Charlie and Samuel Butters; and her brother, Jason Burkett of Atmore.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Dietz officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m., at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Atmore.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
