Century Correctional Inmate Assaulted Staff Member, FDC Says

A Century Correctional Institution inmate assaulted a correctional officer recently, according to the Florida Department of Corrections.
Yomi Williams, Jr., 30, assaulted an officer by spitting on them, according to the FDC.
Williams is serving an eight-year sentence on multiple convictions from Alachua County, including multiple counts of aggravated battery of a pregnant victim and burglary with assault.
