Escambia County Holds Hurricane Exercise

The annual Escambia County Hurricane Exercise at the Emergency Operations Center on W Street in Pensacola.
Escambia County Emergency Management and community partners took part in an exercise to simulate an emergency activation due to a hurricane.
Throughout the exercise, several scenarios were presented.

Thank goodness they are preparing. The predictions are for an active hurricane season ………..surprise. I find it odd that an accurate rain percentage is a daunting task yet someone can predict the number of hurricanes for a season.
