After retiring as an elementary principal from the Escambia School System (34 years), Ms. Ferryn enjoyed a full and active life. Knitting, reading, chasing family genealogy, watching baseball, and traveling were her active escapes for relaxation. Through her life, Ms. Ferryn dearly loved and supported her family church, Pine Forest Estates Baptist Church (NorthStone Baptist Church, today).
