I had the privilege of umpiring during the season at NWE in Walnut Hill and was one of the umps that worked this District Tournament in Excel over the weekend. I worked lots of baseball over the years and my season at NWE and this tournament was probably one of my most enjoyable ever!!! The folks at NWE are a class act and league nights at the park were incredible. And, to my friends in Excel, who hosted the District 7 Cal Ripkin Baseball Tournament…you guys “rocked it” Friday and Saturday!!!
That was one of the most well run tournaments I have ever been a part of…I hope you
    get more in the future!!!

And to the Cal Ripkin Baseball District 7 Champs…you played great!!! Your coaches do an incredible job and you all played like the champions you were coached to be. Be good luck at the state tournament and thank you for allowing me to be a part of both of these extraordinary organizations. God Bless!!!
