Man Dies After Falling Off Roof In Century

A man has died after falling off a roof Thursday in Century.

The man in his 50s reportedly fell off a roof on Jackson Street about 12:45 p.m. He was taken by private vehicle to the Century Fire Station on Tedder Road at North Century Boulevard before being transported by Escambia County EMS to the McDavid Fire Station.

He was then airlifted by Lifeflight Helicopter to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola as a trauma alert, according to an Escambia County spokesperson. He later passed away at the hospital.

The man’s name has not been released.

    I can’t believe that your actually gone. God I’m gonna miss your crazy ass. We had some good times. There will never be another like you that’s for sure. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I will help look after J and the your new baby boy for you. RIP my friend. I hope you know how much your loved and going to be missed dearly by many.
