Century Begins Budget Talks Thursday

The Town of Century begins a series of budget workshops Thursday to create their fiscal year 2019-2020 budget.

Those workshops will be held each Thursday at 3 p.m. through August 22.

Century’s new fiscal year begins October 1.

    (just in case Century didn’t know what one was)

    I guess this is the meeting where you decide what bills you are not going to pay. Hard to do a buget when the revenue equals zero or an negative amount. The circus is back in town.

    Budget talks? Bwahahahahahaha…they have no clue how to handle money, and sticking to a “budget”…well, good luck!

    What’s to discuss?
    They are broke and inept.
    Maybe discuss dismantling and divesting?
