Kudo’s to those who volunteered to help with the clean-up of litter. Roadside litter is a huge eyesore in Escambia County. Its a shame that some many people in our area have the nasty habit of rolling down their window to fling trash into the street versus disposing of the waste in a trash can.

While I recognize some trash may blow out of the trash trucks, in my experience far more trash is tossed out vehicle windows. The lite-weight items being blown out of trash trucks could easily be remedied if folks would just ensure they bag their trash properly and ensure the bag is tied closed.
