Search Continues For Suspect In Cantonment Armed Robbery

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday released surveillance photos from the Saturday night armed robbery of a Cantonment Dollar General store.

The Sheriff’s Office said the suspect pulled a gun and robbed the clerk at the Dollar General on Highway 29 at Tate School Road about 9:50 p.m.

Multiple Escambia County deputies, including a K-9 unit, responded to the robbery and searched the area unsuccessfully for the suspect. There were no injuries reported.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620 or Crimestoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

    Okay his photo is out. Someone out there knows him and could use $1000. Just call Crime-Stoppers and get your money. It’s kept anonymous and you could be his brother, but he would never know you called. I know someone that I worked with that got $3000 for reporting a bank robber to Crime-Stoppers. So it is for real.

    Good thing he pulled a gun so the jail can keep him when they catch him, which they will.

    There are probably many that know him and his whereabouts do the right thing alert LEO’s of his location – get him behind bars

    ..come on people..somebody out there knows this guy..Be a real American and help to get him off the street…your friends and neighbors are counting on you to do the right thing..time to “MAN UP”..

    So they DID have cameras at the DG, took them this long to release them, from Saturday night..weird pink hat, almost looks like the womans’ kitty cat hats.

    He may have changed clothes by now..better late than never on the photo release I suppose.
