Portion Of Stefani Road To Close

A section of Stefani Road between Nine Mile Road and 9 1/2 Mile Road will close beginning Tuesday, July 25 to Friday, August 4 for utility work. There will be detours in place for traffic to follow. Access to residences will be provided at all times.
Every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts to reopen the road by Friday, August 4. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time periods, another notice will be issued.

You left out how they will complain every day that they didn’t know it was closed.
Based on some first hand observation at a recent week long road closure, it wont matter how many signs, barricades, or traffic cones are used to detour traffic, there will be 60 to 80% of the drivers who will ignore all the warning sings and drive up to and if possible thru the construction site. During the night hours when no workers are present, many of these drivers will drive on the shoulder of the road or thru the yards of homeowners to pass thru the construction area. These same drivers will move barricades and traffic cones from the roadway in order to enter the construction site.
