Northview vs Flomaton (Varsity)

The Northview Chiefs fell to the Flomaton Hurricanes, 24-26, 25-27, 25-19.

“Our varsity has really done a great job stepping up and playing every ball until the end,” said Head Coach Betty Heaton. “However, we really need to improve our serving and serve receive.  If we pick those two areas up we have every chance of going into the playoffs.”

Northview vs Flomaton (J.V.)

In junior varsity action, the Northview Chiefs defeated Flomaton 25-13.

“The JV did a great job.  They played hard though out the match,” Heaton said.

Northview vs Flomaton (9th Grade)

The Northview 9tjh grade team defeated Flomaton 25- 19, 25-14.

“Our 9th grade team had some difficulty finding their rhythm, but they did a good job coming together at the end,” according to Heaton.

    Just for the record, Northview’s 9th grade team played Flomaton’s junior high team (7th & 8th grades). Most of these girls are in 7th grade (5) with only 3 eighth graders, they played a very good game against Northview.
