Beulah Man Gets Over 10 Years For Possession Of Child Sexual Abuse Materials

October 6, 2026

A Beulah man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in state prison following an investigation into child sexual abuse materials brought by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in July 2024.

Charles “Billy” Danielson, 52, was sentenced by Circuit Judge John Simon to 127.5 months in state prison with credit for 23 days served, to be followed by four years of sex offender probation. Simon also recommended that Danielson serve his time at Graceville Correctional Facility.

According to court records, Danielson entered a plea of no contest to 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse materials. In exchange, the state announced a nolle prosequi, formally dropping the remaining 10 possession counts as well as one count of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. Prior to the plea disposition, he had faced up to 305 years in state prison.

Under the terms of the judgment, Danielson is designated as a sexual offender for life. Special conditions of his probation mandate that he may not possess any device capable of accessing the internet. He must also complete mental health counseling within 30 days of release, provide probation officers with all email addresses and social media accounts for inspection, and have no unsupervised contact with minors or contact with anyone under the age of 18.

FDLE said the investigation began in February 2024 after agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a Snapchat user uploading images of child sexual abuse material. On July 10, 2024, agents executed a search warrant at Danielson’s residence and seized multiple electronic devices. Agents said an examination revealed numerous images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children, some as young as infants and toddlers.

I agree with Natalie. Prison shoukd not be for rehabilitation or recreation, it should be punishment for a crime. For those who feel that this kind of scum won’t survive prison, if that were the case there would not be so many who create the same crime when they are released. There are two sentences that would prevent them from commiting the same crime multiple times, life behind bars and the death penalty.

My prayers are for his family and the families of the victims.. Do any of these investigations lead to the people that produce and make this available online? This age of internet has changed our world.

This is why we have so many repeat offenders. Lock him up and throw away the key.
