Reminder: See The Live Event ‘Night in Bethlehem’ Sunday Evening In Molino

Highland Baptist Church will host “Night in Bethlehem” on Sunday from 5:30 until 7 p.m. During the live, interactive portrayal, visitors can taste, smell, feel and experience what Bethlehem was like on that wondrous night. There will be a live Nativity with live animals, along with the opportunity to visit the marketplace, see the potter, taste the bread, hear the angels and talk with Mary and Joseph.

Admission is free. Highland Baptist Church is located at 6240 North Highway 95A in Molino.

Five Injured In Molino Highway 29 Wreck

December 11, 2021

Five people, some of which were juveniles, were injured in a two vehicle crash Friday night in Molino.

A SUV pulling a utility trailer and a pickup truck collided on Highway 29 south of Omega Drive about 9:40 p.m. The five people in the SUV were transported to area hospitals by Escambia County EMS; none of their injuries were considered life threatening.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.

The Molino Station of Escambia Fire Rescue also responded.

Beulah Christmas Bash, Flomaton Christmas Bazaar Still A Go For Today

Despite a threat of rain today, both the Beulah Bash Christmas Car and Craft Show and the Town of Flomaton Christmas Bazaar are set to go on as planned today.

Beulah Bash Christmas Car and Craft Show

The Beulah Bash Christmas Car and Craft Show will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Escambia County Equestrian Center, hosted by the Marcus Pointe Baptist Church Beulah.

The event will feature over 50 craft vendors, free crafts for kids, inflatable fun, food trucks and, classic cars and photos with Santa.

Beulah Bash will take place regardless of rain; most everything is under a roof.

The Escambia County Equestrian Center is located at 7750 Mobile Highway. Admission is free.

1st Annual Town of Flomaton Christmas Bazaar

The 1st Annual Town of Flomaton Christmas Bazaar will take place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Organizers said late Friday that they expect any rain to be later in the day, and the even is still on.

The Flomaton Christmas Bazaar will be held at Flomaton Hurricane Park, on Highway 31 across from Flomaton High School. The town sponsored event will feature arts and crafts, food and drink, classic cars, bounce houses and kiddy train rides. Admission is free.

Two Suspects Named After Shots Fired Inside Century Convenience Store (With Video)

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has named two suspects in connection with a shots fired incident last Saturday night inside a Century convenience store.

The suspects, 16-year old Travis Lavar Scott, Jr. and 32-year old Aaron Lee Sutton, got into a verbal altercation that ended with both suspects pulling firearms and Scott firing his weapon inside the store, the ECSO said Wednesday.

There were other customers inside the store at the time of the incident, along with the store clerk. There were no injuries.

Sutton has an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault and improper exhibition of a firearm. A warrant has been issued for Scott for possession of a firearm by a delinquent.
