Vallie Louise Walker, age 94, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, surrounded by family. Vallie was known for her strong personality and unforgettable spirit. She was outspoken, honest, and never one to hold back her thoughts. Vallie was a woman of deep faith and devotion. She was a true prayer warrior, faithfully lifting her family, friends, and loved ones up in prayer. Those who knew and loved her will remember her for her strength, authenticity, and faith in God.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty; her sons, Tony (Patricia) and Danny (Nancy); along with her beloved grandchildren, Valerie, Bobby (Chastity), BJ (Taylor), Ashley (Jesus), Tony-Lynn, Marc (Lacy), “Little” Danny, Steve, Mike, Jay; and her beloved great-grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon, Brittany, Chaz, Brianna, Mikelle, Mika, Olivia, Maverick, Gracie, Rosie, Jesus, Tyler, Cheyanne, Annabelle, Avery, Aurora, Audie, Danny, Asher, Jackson; step-great-grandchildren, Sophia and Grayson; 18 great-great-grandchildren, and her extended family and loved ones, who will forever cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Gail; her son, Tim; her grandson, Michael; and her great-grandson, Christopher; her parents, Lula and Fred Walker; her six brothers and five sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Chapel North with Gary Thomas and Jeff Henry officiating. Burial will follow at Judson Creek Cemetery in Atmore, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Bobby Nickoles Jr., Gill Caudle, Jason Hinote, Chaz Robinson, Jay Rippstein, and Steve Rippstein. Honorary pallbearers will be B. J. Evans (Bert), Gary Thomas, Chris Beer, and Pete Walker.
She will be deeply missed. Her love and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
