Town of Century: Pay Past Due Utility Bills Must Be Paid By Today To Avoid Disconnection

The Town of Century is warning utility customers that utility bills must be paid by today, Friday April 24 to avoid disconnection.

Utility bills have previously been mailed to customers late, but the town says bills have now been mailed to customers on time.

Accounts are subject to disconnection as of April 25.

    It sure would be nice if they’d let us set up an automatic payment system given it’s 2026 and we are STILL RECIEVING THE BILLS DAYS AFTER THEY SHUT US OFF.

    The incompetence level in this town is astounding. They can’t manage to get an automatic pay system set up NOR can they get us proper deactivation notices (no, a website notice and mail 2 days after we got shut off does not count) but they sure don’t waste time shutting off our utilities.

    This is immoral and corrupt.
