No Serious Injuries In Saturday Afternoon Highway 95A Wreck

There were no serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on Highway 95A in Cantonment.
The crash happened about 3:20 p.m. just north of Highway 29. At least one person was transported by Escambia EMA with minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.

A little history: If this occurred at the 95A exit from the old “Gee Willies” gas, the ditch weeds are high there. Exiting there recently, I realized the weeds block the ability to see 95A traffic unless you almost pull out onto the road. In the past, I have been screamed at by a vehicle I could not see and almost hit. After contacting the Prison Road Dept, they cleared the ditches then. But not again. This area needs constant attention on a scheduled regular basis. So sorry this happened.
