Located: Woman Wanted For Questioning In Deadly Escambia Pit Bull Attack

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a woman for questioning only in the death of a 60-year old man killed by pit bulls Friday night in Escambia County.
The ECSO wants to speak with Kathleen Ann Taylor.
The attack happened about 10:15 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Norris Avenue, off Massachusetts Avenue.
“A witness observed a male being attacked by three pit bulls. The witness managed to scare the dogs away and immediately called 911,” the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “Unfortunately, due to the victim’s injuries sustained in the attack, he later died.”
Escambia County Animal Control was unable to locate the dogs Friday night. They returned with deputies at 8 a.m. Saturday.
“One pit bull was observed and attempted to avoid capture. The animal was still very aggressive and was shot by a deputy. The animal was captured and is receiving medical treatment,” ECSO said Saturday.
A second pit bull was later located and captured. At last report, the third dog had not been located.
The name of the victim was not released.

I love dogs. But a pit is NOT welcome on my hill.. I’ve had too many incidents with a pit or pit mix attacking my animals and killing them.. A pit found on our property will be dealt with.. PERIOD..! ZERO TOLERANCE… Has been working for years now. Have lost no more pets to pits since adopting my zero tolerance state of mind…
The entire breed needs to be culled.

Sad for the man killed by dogs, what a horrible way to go.
That person is only 25? Remember people, certain drugs will age you to where you look twice your age! And yes, I did look her up on jail view, she has a lengthy history of drug violations, so I’m not just being mean.
