Four people were reported injured in a vehicle wreck that ended with one car hitting a house on Highway 29 in Molino Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. on Highway 29 near Chance Road when one vehicle apparently rear-ended another. One vehicle left the roadway and struck the porch of a nearby home, while the other vehicle crossed all lanes of Highway 29 and came to rest in some bushes along Chance Road.

The injuries were not considered to be life threatening; one of those injured was reported to be a minor. No one in the house was injured.

The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. The Molino and Cantonment Stations of Escambia Fire Rescue and Escambia County EMS responded.

I drive this hwy twice a day four days a week. Always behind some vehicle speeding and swaying side to side of their lane , scared to pass but you do and get right beside them, look over and there’s that phone in their hand or their looking down at that phone. Nothing is that important and if it is then pull over, I love my life and don’t want to lose it cause they stupid.

The way people speed i dont doubt this would happen. I live off of 29. And turning into my driveway sometime is dangerous. People behind you running 70 80 mph. Then wanna sit on the horn when you slow down to turn. We need more officers up this way and I hope when the new red light is installed theyll
Drop the speed to 45 through there

Hey if you would pay more attention to the road and not other things like a cell phone this would have likely not have happened

Wouldnt doubt this would happen. I live on 29 my self. Slowing down to turn into own driveway is ridiculous. People are running 65 80 mpg and wanna run you over and sit on the horn when you try to turn into your own driveway. People need to slow down and respect those of us that live in 29 as wel as farm equipment. I feel the speed from tom thumb to the 65 mph zone needs to be dropped to 45mph. We need more policing up this way

It is no one’s fault, Blame a phone being used while driving, texting, watching YouTube, movies, videos, etc. I see phones in the faces of drivers, all day every day!

Wow, they must have been travelling at a high rate of speed to do that much damage to each vehicle.
