Angela Rae Hughen

July 18, 2019

Angela Rae Hughen (Angie), age 49, of Molino, FL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 16, 2019.

Angie was best known for her qualities as a godly wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She served her church family passionately, playing the piano, cleaning the church, and countless other behind the scenes projects. Angie was quietly a major contributor to her family and to her church, serving steadily in all areas, without the need for recognition or credit. She had a gentle touch and a tender smile.

Angie graduated high school from Pensacola Christian School, and obtained a Medical Secretary Associates Degree from Pensacola Christian College in 1990. She later served a lengthy tenure as the church secretary, drove the school bus, and took on the difficult role of home-school mom, teaching all five of her children from kindergarten up.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Hughen of Molino; five children, David Hughen (with wife Samantha) of Pensacola, Bethany Barrow (with husband Ryne) of Bratt, and Lauren Hughen, Ethan Hughen, and Caleb Hughen of Molino; one grandchild, Raelynn Barrow of Bratt; her parents, Ray and Sheila Davis of Benson, NC; her sister, Robbin Maples (with husband Joey) also of Benson; one nephew and three nieces, Wesley, Emma, Olivia, and Jordan Maples, all of Benson; and mother-in-law, Mary Hughen of Molino.

Family visitation will be held, Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Faith Bible Baptist Church in Century; friends are invited to visit at 2:30 p.m. The service will follow at 3 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at Ray’s Chapel afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Faith Bible Baptist Church sign fund. Donations can be mailed to FBBC, P.O. Box 678, Century, FL, 32535

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is entrusted with arrangements.
