School’s Out For The Summer

May 25, 2019

Friday was the last day of school in Escambia County. School will resume on Monday, August 12.

This was the first school year for the new Kingsfield Elementary and Beulah Middle schools. Kingsfield students (pictured) were sent off with a little fanfare including hugs, waves, singing and dancing.

they are under paid. i have heard people say their job is easy and they work only 9 months. if these people had a room full of any age group from 6 to 18 in their presence every week day from 7:30 to 2:30, they would quickly change their opinion.

Generally speaking, teachers are appreciated. But I think teachers are most appreciated on rainy Saturdays and during the summer. LOL!
