All area schools will be closed on Friday.

  • Escambia County, Fla. will be closed — make up day has not been announced
  • Santa Rosa County will be closed — make up day will be June 10
  • Escambia County, Ala. will be closed — make up day on Monday
  • Escambia Academy will be closed.
  • Baldwin County, Ala. will be closed
  • Brewton City Schools  will be closed.

All evening events have also been canceled.

    The Jay High School 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Valentines Beau Dance tonight is NOT cancelled. It is sponsered by the Class of 2010 Project Graduation, which is not a school sponsered activity!

    Brewton City schools do not fall under the Escambia County Board of Education. They are city governed and have a different superintendent. FYI

    Old Days

    Brewton City Schools are not a part of the Escambia County School District. They are a separate system.

    Brewton City Schools will be closed as well as Escambia County Schools. No word yet on the private schools or day care centers. The Escambia County AL Courthouse as well as other County offices will be closed also.

    Snow Day! Snow Day! How many times do we get to say that around here?! Hope we get at least a foot so the kids can see snow finally!!

    My niece goes to Brewton Elementary and they are not having school tomorrow and will make up the day Monday.

    Brewton City schools are part of the Escambia County district which means that all Brewton schools including TR Miller will be closed.

    Coming from MA, we are used to seeing snow. Still excited to see it here in FL. My kids miss playing in the snow.

    i hope it snows so the kids can get a day off they need to play in the snow , I’ll be just as happy as them

    If there is snow my son will not be attending Bratt Elementary tomorrow! I think I may be just as excited as he is!!
