Please have the sheriff department around when these children are running. One is going to get hurt because alot of people are not aware of the kids running. Do they still run on Pine Barren and Oak Shade Road . When coming over the hills you can not see anyone until you are on top of them. Please have the sheriff department out to protect these children.

I passed these young people yesterday and it was good to see them working so hard. There were a lot of parents waiting for their kids to cross the finish line and they all had that look of proud parents on their faces.

One thing I would suggest to the school and coaches is that you please put up something to warn drivers on Hwy 4 about the kids running next to the road. I came over the hill going west and was surprised by all the kids running. I wasn,t speeding but ,I know a lot of people do on this road. Just a suggestion. To me it was a very plesant surprise.

Good job runners! Yesterday’s event was a good one all around and Northview had a great turnout. Coach Nall and Coach Meehan did a great job organizing and sponsoring the event and we appreciate them both. The cooler weather was an added bonus.
