Deputies Search For Fleeing Domestic Disturbance Suspect In Cantonment

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shots-fired domestic disturbance shortly after 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in Cantonment. ECSO deputies responded to Green Tree Circle, off Jacks Branch Road near Muscogee Road.

Deputies said the suspect fled on foot as deputies were giving commands. A search followed, involving numerous deputies, K-9 units and a drone. As of just before 10 p.m., deputies said the search was still ongoing.

Deputies were not able to confirm that a gun was involved in the incident.
