Friday night’s Dateline NBC will feature the story of Ashley McArthur, who is serving a life sentence for killing a woman for money and burying her body in Cantonment.
“We have interviews with Detectives Chad Willhite and Jeff Brown, Taylor’s best friend Barbara Evanson, Taylor’s ex-husband Jeff Wright and more,” Claudia Meyer-Samargia, communications coordinator for NBC News, told NorthEscambia.com.

Walk-ins Accepted Until 2 PM At COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic In Cantonment

The Community Health Northwest Florida vaccination clinic scheduled for Thursday in Cantonment is accepting walk-ins until 2 p.m. Thursday.
No appointments are necessary for the Modenra vaccine clinic at the Escambia County 4-H office at 3730 Stefani Road.
The clinic is open for Florida residents age 18 and older. Participants should bring a photo identification. Do not attend if you are sick or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past two weeks.

10,000 Pound Food Giveaway This Afternoon At Carver Park In Cantonment

The Cantonment Improvement Committee will hold a 10,000 pound food distribution today at Carver Park, 208 Webb Street.
The food distribution will begin at 3:30 p.m. and continue while supplies last for anyone in need of food. Line up on Webb Street facing north; food will be loaded into vehicles. The event will take place rain or shine.
