Escambia County Gas Prices Drop A Few Cents As State Average Edges Up

Florida gas prices are up 4 cents after rising and then falling last week. The state average rose abruptly by 14 cents early in the week, then declined by 10 cents by the weekend.

Sunday’s state average of $3.88 per gallon was 4 cents more than last week, 7 cents more than a month ago, and 81 cents more than last year.

The average on Sunday in Escambia County was $3.63, down from $3.78 one week ago but up from $3.28 a month ago.

The low price Sunday night in North Escambia was $3.45 at stations on Highway 29 and Muscogee Road in Cantonment. In Pensacola, drivers could find $3.36 per gallon at the warehouse clubs and $3.39 at several Nine Mile Road stations.
