Century Correctional Inmate Serving Time For Murder Assaulted Staff Member, FDC Says

A Century Correctional Institution inmate assaulted a correctional officer, according to the Florida Department of Corrections.

Inmate Angel Galarza assaulted a correctional officer by throwing a cup of unknown liquid at them, FDC said.

Galarza was serving a 25-year sentence for a 2024 Polk County conviction for first degree murder. He was set for release in 2047.

    First degree murder and he only got 25 years and they are going to release him in 2047? Why? To murder again?

    He’s not set for release in 2047 anymore! Hope the CO is ok.!
