Glenda Griffith Weekley

Glenda Griffith Weekley, 71, of Cantonment, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 1, 2025. She was born in Pensacola, Florida, on May 18, 1954, to Donald Manuel Griffith and Ruth Elizabeth Martin Griffith. Glenda was a faithful and dedicated wife to John Edward Weekley for over 52 years.

Glenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. She lived a life filled with grace, kindness, and unwavering faith. A woman of God, she was the spiritual foundation of our family, always offering love, prayers, and wisdom to those around her.

Glenda had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, serving at her church, and spending time with her family. Her warmth, generosity, and strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ruth Griffith; and her older brother, Daniel Griffith.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Edward Weekley; sons, Jason (Lolly Sumner) Weekley and Josh (Holli) Weekley; beloved grandchildren, Faith Ann (Brett) Livingston, Karsyn Dean, and Avery Weekley; great-grandson, Landon Livingston; twin sister, Gloria Griffith; nephew, Coy (Dakota Banks) Carter; great nieces, Allie (Tristen) Segers and Lacie (Clint Gunter) Carter; brothers, Dennis (Jenny) Griffith and Clifford (Becky) Griffith; and many more nieces and nephews.

We find peace in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered, with much love and respect.

Pallbearers are Chase Arnette, Bo Brown, Clay Finley, Rocky Galloway, Bubba Griffith, and JB Nelson.

Honorary pallbearers are Mark Clark, Dwayne Arnette, Rhett Arnette, Dale Simpson, Sherry Arnold-Key and Pamela Smith.
