Pedestrian Killed Early Sunday Morning In Escambia County

A pedestrian was killed early Sunday morning in Escambia County.

The Florida Highway Patrol said 19-year old Rose White of Pensacola was southbound on W Street near Lenox Parkway when 37-year old Travis Gilmore of Pensacola “entered the roadway from an unknown direction” in front of White’s Honda Civic.

Gilmore was pronounced deceased following the 3:05 a.m. collision. White was not injured.

FHP said is unknown at this time if any charges will be filed.
