FCA Challenger Awards Presented To Area Football Players

Area high school football players were honored Monday and Tuesday nights at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ Challenger Award Banquet.

One Challenger Award is presented per team, chosen by a secret ballot with all players voting. The player must exemplify Christian values, sportsmanship and academic achievement.

    Trae Melton your Dad and I are very proud of you for exhibiting these values on and off the field. Of all the recognition that could be give to you, this is one I am most proud of. Prep Football player of the week, Scholar Athlete of the week and now two years in a row FCA Challenger Award. My prayer is that you always seek the Lord’s will in your decisions and that you continue to let the loving light of Jesus shine through you to draw others to him. Love you bud!!!! Mom.
