Penny Delaine Morris Shivers

Mrs. Penny Delaine Morris Shivers, 41, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011, at a Pensacola hospital.

Mrs. Shivers was a native of Andalusia, a resident of Flomaton for the past 18 years and attended the Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Morris.

Survivors include her husband Kenny Shivers of Flomaton; her son, Nikolas Shivers of Flomaton; her father, Robert Morris of Red Level, AL; a sister, Lynn M. and Michael Bush of Red Level; grandmother, Mamie H. Morris of Red Level; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Geneva Shiver of Flomaton; a number of aunts and uncles; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Pickern officiating. .

Burial will be Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the South Church of God Cemetery in Red Level.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2011, from 6-9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore.

Pallbearers will be Larry Turman, Lamar Williamson, Stacey Williamson, Keith Williamson, Joey Turman and Chris Fuller.

    I worked with Penny and found her to be a very nice person. May God bless her family and friends.

    Heaven received one of it’s saints….Precious, precious lady! She will be missed by many! We are so blessed to have known her and called her friend! We love you Penny and miss you already!!!
