The Dingers Don’t Stop As Tate Beats Curry In PC Beach Tourney

Three Tate Aggies had four total home runs Friday in their first game of the Florida-USA Softball Challenge in Panama City Beach.
On Saturday, Tate will take on Opp and Walton as the tourney continues.
Tate 9, Curry 7
The Tate Aggies beat the Curry Yellow Jackets 9-7.
The Aggies were down by one in the bottom of the fourth until Laird doubled on a 3-2 count and scored two runs.
The Aggies had four home runs. Kara Wine had dingers in the first and third innings. Olivia Latner had a long ball in the first inning, and Charli Vinson also homered in the first.
Peyton Womack earned the win for the Aggies, going five and a third innings allowing eight hits, seven runs, one walk and striking out three. Smith tossed one-third of an inning in relief.
Daphne 6 Tate 0
The Daphne Trojans defeated the Tate Aggies 6-0 Friday night.
Kara Wine, Olivia Latner and Charli Vinson had one hit each for Tate.

Two Homers And A Shutout As Northview Wins Two In Friday Tourney
March 4, 2023
The Northview Chiefs recorded three home runs and two wins Friday in the Florida-USA Softball Challenge in Panama City Beach.
The Chiefs beat Sneads and Altha. On Saturday, Northview will face Mosley and Arnold on day two of the tourney.
Northview 10, Sneads 0
Emma Gilmore threw a complete game shutout as the Northview Chiefs beat Sneads 10-0 in five innings.
Gilmore surrounded no runs on two hits in five innings, striking out five and walking one.
Northview’s two seniors both hit homers. Aubrey Stuckey went the yard in the fifth inning, and Gilmore had a long ball in the second.
Northview 11, Altha 9
The Northview Chiefs beat Altha 11-9 in five innings.
Emma Gilmore had a walk-off single to score two runs for the win in the bottom of the fifth.
In the circle, Jamison Gilman allowed nine hits and eight runs in three innings, walking one and striking out two.
Aubrey Stuckey smacked a homer in the fourth inning.

Tate Aggies Fall To Robertsdale

Robertsdale defeated the Tate Aggies 6-2 Wednesday night in Robertsdale.
Kate Balagbagan went three and a third innings for Tate, allowing four hits, four runs, one walk and striking out two. Jordan Smith pitched one and a third innings, striking out two and walking one. Peyton Womack went for one and a third innings, allowing three hits, two runs, and walking one.
Olivea Latner had a homer for the Aggies in the seventh inning, Charli Vinson, Karea Wine and Womack also added a hit each for Tate.
After a weekend tournament, Tate will host Pace on Tuesday.
Tate Tennis Boys And Girls Defeat Milton

Tate High School Tennis boys and girls defeated Milton 7-0 on Wednesday. The boys team is 3-3 overall while the girls improved to 5-1. Up next, Tate will host East Hill Christian School on Friday. Photos for NorthEscambia.com, click to enlarge.

The Tate Aggies beat West Florida, and Northview defeated T.R. Miller Tuesday night.
Tate 4, West Florida 1
The Tate Aggies beat West Florida 4-1 Tuesday night.
Ethan McAnnally pitched the win for Tate, going four innings while allowing four hits and one run while walking one and striking out six. Colton Swiers went for one inning, allowing no hits and no runs while sitting down two and walking one. Gabriel Patterson pitched for two, allowing no hits and no runs while striking out five.
James Davis and Frank Randall were both 2-2 at bat to lead the Aggies. Brayden Touchstone and Javin Floyd had one hit each.
The Tate Aggies will host Crestview at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Northview 3, T.R. Miller 1
The Northview Chiefs beat T.R. Miller 3-1 Tuesday night in Brewton.
Cason Burkett earned the win for the Chiefs. He allowed four hits and one run in six and third innings while striking out six and walking one. Jamarcus Jefferson tossed two-thirds of inning in relief, allowing two hits, walking one and striking out two.
Jefferson, Kaden Odom, Luke Bridges, Rustin Pope, Wyatt Scruggs, and Trent Knighten each had one hit for Northview.
Northview will travel to West Florida Friday night at 6:30.

Tate Beats Escambia 13-6; Northview Falls To Pace (With Gallery)

Tate beat Escambia and Northview hosted Pace in softball action Tuesday night.
Pace 18, Northview 0
The Pace Patriots defeated the Northview Chiefs 18-0 Tuesday night in Bratt.
Emma Gilmore led off in the circle for Northview, going three innings while allowing no runs, no walks, and one hit while striking out three. Aubrey Stuckey threw three innings in relief.
After tournament action over the weekend, Northview will host Baker Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Tate 13, Escambia 6
The Tate Aggies beat Escambia 13-6 Tuesday night at EHS.
Jordan Smith earned the win for the Aggies. She went seven innings, allowing six runs on 10 hits, striking out four and walking none.
Tate had homers from Charli Vinson in the first and Peyton Womack in the seventh.
Womack led the Aggies at the plate, going 2-3 with three runs and two RBIs. Lacy Wilson, Amburleigh Laird, Vinson, Olivea Latner, Tristen Showalter, Kate Balagbagan, Blakely Campbell, MacKenzie Cook, and Miranda Gaut all had a hit for Tate.
The Lady Aggies will travel to Robertsdale at 6:30 p.m. on March 1.

All Star High School Soccer Game Is Wednesday Night

The Pensacola Sports High School Al-Star Series soccer games will be played Wednesday night at Ashton Brosnaham Park.
The girls will kick-off at 5 p.m. and the boys will be at 7 p.m.
Players from Escambia County will be on the West team, while players from Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties will be on the east.

Friday night’s Tate Aggie at Niceville baseball game was suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning due to fog
Tate was up 8-2.
There was no immediate word on when the game might be complete.

Jay Wins With 9th Inning Walk-off Over Northview
February 25, 2023
The Jay Royals defeated the Northview Chiefs on a walk-off in nine innings Friday night in Jay, 4-3.
Layna Lowery led off in the circle for the Royals going three innings, allowing four hits, no runs and striking out four. Jenna Toups earned the win allowing three hits and three runs with one strikeout in six innings.
Ella Nelson and Kassidy Nevels both went 2-4 to lead the Royals at the plate.
Emma Gilmore went a full eight and a third innings for Northview, giving up four runs on three hits and striking out four. Gilmore, Aubrey Struckey, Allison Flowers, Makayla Golson and Mary-Clayton Dawson each had one hit for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs will host Pace next Tuesday at 6 p.m., and the Royals will travel to Gulf Breeze at 6:30 Tuesday.
