Communications Outage Resolved For Century Town Offices

UPDATE: 1:40 p.m. — The communications outage for Century town offices has been resolved.
Century town offices are experiencing a communications outage today.
The outage is impacting their ability make and receive phones calls, and to take and process utility payments.
The situation is reportedly due to a fiber optic line outage in the area. The town is working with the vendor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

10,000 Pound Food Giveaway Tuesday Afternoon In Cantonment

The Cantonment Improvement Committee will hold a drive-thru 10,000 pound food giveaway Tuesday afternoon at Carver Park on Webb Street.
The food distribution will begin at 3:30 p.m. and continue while supplies last for anyone in need of food. People should line up their vehicles, single file on Webb Street facing north; food will be loaded into vehicles. Identification is required.

Veterans Honor Program To Be Held Sunday At Carver Park In Cantonment

The Cantonment Improvement Committee and the Ascend Cares Foundation presented “A Tribute to Veterans” Sunday afternoon at Carver Park in Cantonment.
The Cantonment Improvement Committee will host a veterans honor program on Sunday, November 13 at 2 p.m.
The honoring those who served will be held at 2 p.m. at Carver Park, 208 Webb Street. The Tate High School AJROTC Honor Guard will take part, and there will be guest speakers. A meal will follow.
Everyone is invited to attend the free event.
