Carol Ann (Ward) Driver

Carol Ann (Ward) Driver passed away on March 12, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was 83 years old.
Carol Ann was born on September 14, 1943, in Atmore, Alabama, at Greenlawn Hospital to Ernest and Frances Ward. She was raised in Walnut Hill, Florida, and later in life moved to her husband James Lloyd Driver’s home in Loxley, Alabama.
She graduated from Ernest Ward High School in Walnut Hill, Florida, where she was honored as Senior Class Homecoming Queen, Drum Major, and Lead Majorette. Her senior class also voted her “Beauty.” She was active in sports and played both softball and volleyball.
Carol Ann was a lifelong member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Walnut Hill, Florida, where she attended faithfully for many years. Later in life, after moving to her husband James Lloyd Driver’s home in Loxley, Alabama, she regularly attended Loxley Church of God, now known as Loxley Church, while continuing to return to Walnut Hill Baptist Church for special gatherings and homecoming services.
Carol Ann loved her family and was known for her joyful spirit. She enjoyed laughing, baking, cooking, playing the piano, watching westerns, and getting her hair and nails done. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cherished every moment shared with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Frances Ward; her brother, Jeff Ward; her husband, James Lloyd Driver; and her daughters, Lisa Littles and Lynn Driver.
She is survived by her children, Lana Pulido (Raul Pulido), Luci Parmer (Bryan Parmer), and Horace Lloyd Driver.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Reid Carrillo, A.J. Sappenfield, J.D. Sappenfield, Justice Smith, Samantha Langham (Chase Langham), Raul Pulido, and Sabrina Pulido.
She is further survived by her great-granddaughter, Lennox Langham.
She is also survived by her siblings, Judy Eicher (Wallace Eicher) and Harry Ward (Judy Ward).
Carol Ann will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her senior quote was, “Leave with no tears and few regrets.”
Active pallbearers will be Reid Carrillo (grandson), Raul Pulido (grandson), Vic Eicher (nephew), Brett Ward (cousin), Chase Langham (granddaughter Samantha Langham’s husband), and Julio Atenza (family friend).
Honorary pallbearers will be A.J. Sappenfield (grandson), J.D. Sappenfield (grandson), Justice Smith (grandson), Lloyd Duncan (brother-in-law), Tim Gibbs (niece Gina Gibbs’ husband), Charles Driver (cousin), and Jeff Smith (family friend).
Ladies of the Privy Chamber will be Kathy Baker (sister-in-law), Katherine Breeden (sister-in-law), Marilyn Bridges (cousin), Lynn Wilson (family friend), Sue Crook (caregiver and family friend), and Neak Charnease (family friend).
Ladies in Waiting will be Samantha Langham (granddaughter), Sabrina Pulido (granddaughter), Lennox Langham (great-granddaughter), Mary Helen O’Quin (cousin), Joyce Dempsey (family friend), and Alicia Williams (family friend).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sue Crook, her caregiver, for the kindness, compassion, and friendship she shared with Carol Ann.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at Loxley Church with Lead Pastor Kevin Mills, located at 5220 S Hickory Street, Loxley, Alabama 36551.
Celebration of Life funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at Walnut Hill Baptist Church with Lead Pastor Ted Bridges (cousin), located at 5741 Arthur Brown Road, Walnut Hill, Florida 32568.
Burial will follow in the Driver family plots at Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, where Carol Ann will be laid to rest beside her husband, James Lloyd Driver.
Arrangements are being handled by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale, Alabama.
Sally “Lynne” Miller

Ms. Sally “Lynne” Miller, age 90, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence.
Ms. Miller was born in Holyoke, MA. but was a lifelong resident of Escambia County Alabama. Ms. Miller enjoyed crocheting, sewing and embroidering. She loved working in her flowers and enjoyed doing puzzles. She loved watching Alabama football. Ms. Lynne loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. She loved baking, watching chain reaction on TV with her great grandchildren. She also enjoyed decorating at Christmas time with her great grandchildren. Ms. Miller’s great grandchildren say she loved drinking her Diet Dr. Peppers. Ms. Miller is preceded in death by her parents – Talmadge and Gertrude Beasley; a grandson – Lane Clary.
Ms. Sally Miller is survived by her two sons – Randal W. Miller of Little Rock, AL and Ricky W. Miller of Little Rock, AL; one daughter – Lynne Wynell Miller Clary of Flomaton; one brother – Skip Beasley of Castleberry; one sister – Kay Mooney of Walnut Hill, FL; four grandchildren – Cody (Madison Savage) Clary, Justin Clary, Jennifer Walker and Kaleb Miller; five great grandchildren – Lane Franklin, Weston Griener, Randi Jo Griener, Beckett Clary and Taytum Clary; a cousin – Jean Hobby of Raleigh, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Flomaton Funeral Home chapel.
Lillie Miller Stocke

Lillie Miller Stocke’ passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at age 98.
Lillie Miller Stocke’ was born and raised in Elba, Alabama. She married Donald Duane Miller in 1946. They lived in Molino for 32 years, until he passed away in 1978. Later, she married William (Bill) Stocke’ and moved to Elberta, Alabama. They were married 28 years before she was widowed again in 2008. Lillie then moved to Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
Lillie was a homemaker and enjoyed a career in catering. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She baked many beautiful birthday and wedding cakes and shared in many happy celebrations along the way. She also owned a Family (Miller’s) Restaurant in Molino, home of the Miller Burger, where she enjoyed cooking and meeting the public.
While she and Don raised their family, they enjoyed water sports, dancing and traveling. When she and Bill married, they also enjoyed similar interests. Two blessed marriages. Later in life at Westminster Village, she enjoyed Casino Trips and playing Cards and Domino’s with friends.
Lillie is survived by her Children: William Duane Miller (Maria) of Elberta, Rick (Anita) Miller of Pensacola and Donna (Al) Jackson of Gulf Breeze and Grandchildren: Duane Dean Miller, Shane (Tammy) Miller, Jennifer Jackson, J.R. (Katie) Miller and Ricki Michelle (Chris) McWilliams. Along with several Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Special Thanks to Hospice (Tara) and the West Minster Family (Glorianna, Maxine and Staff) for their care during her stay.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Molino with her nephew Chuck Hendrix presiding.
Her time here is complete, a job well done … Now Her Journey Continues …

Ruth Elizabeth Stone

Ruth Elizabeth Stone was born in Pensacola Florida on March 4th, 1952, and died in Sant Pere de Ribes Spain on December 31st, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents George G. Stone and Pattie O. Stone.
Ruth leaves behind her son George Aaron Black of Washington DC and granddaughter Eleanor of Philadelphia, son Patrick Ezell of Dadeville, Alabama, and daughter Stacey Ezell (Mouloud) and granddaughter Cosima of Sant Pere de Ribes Spain.
Ruth also leaves behind four siblings, Bruce Stone (Anita), Laura Ferrell (Jerry), Jean Wiggins (Glen), Bob Stone (Cathy), and nineteen nieces and nephews. A private memorial service was held.
Ruth graduated as Valedictorian from Ernest Ward High School, Walnut Hill Florida in 1970. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social science from Florida State University and then in 1976 graduated with honors from Florida State University College of Law with a Juris Doctor.
Ruth’s career highlights include practicing with Florida Legal Services, assistant state attorney in the juvenile division of the First Judicial Court State Attorney’s Office, managing attorney for Legal Services Corporation of Alabama, and last in Ruth’s career, she was the Wayne and Pat Hogan Professor of Trial Practice at FSU. She was the faculty advisor for the FSU Law Trial Team and had served as a coach for mock trial competitions. The many highly acclaimed mock trial problems that Ruth wrote for FSU sponsored competitions included topics such as gun violence, right of access to Florida beaches by the public, use of drones, and more. Ruth retired from the university after serving for more than 22 years as a member of the clinical faculty.
Ruth led an adventuresome life. In addition to writing, Ruth was an avid reader, a member of many book clubs, a past president of the Tallahassee Women Lawyers, a joyful shopper of local arts, crafts, and food markets, a worldwide traveler, and our family historian. In her earlier years, she loved to camp, hike, and canoe with her friends and family.
Ruth had a kind and generous heart and will be missed by all who knew her.
Douglas Chastang

of Cantonment, Florida passed away on March 13, 2026. Doug was born on February 26, 1959.
He was born and grew up in Pensacola, Florida, where he attended Woodham High School. Doug was a graduate of the University of South Alabama. He dedicated over 30 years of service as an engineer at the Navy base, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Chastang and Pelham Chastang.
He is survived by his daughters, Alonna Perry (Trevor) and Brittany Chastang (Brittany); his beloved grandchildren, Lillian Perry and Henry Perry; and his sisters, Carolyn Schmitz and Sylvia Davis.
Doug was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He especially loved spoiling his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. He had a love for the outdoors and was known for his sense of humor and pulling pranks on friends and family. In his younger years he enjoyed golfing, riding dirt bikes, camping, hunting and simply being outside. He was also a devoted Alabama football fan.
Doug will be remembered for his humor, love of the outdoors, and the deep love he had for his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A short service will be held graveside on Thursday, March 19th at 10:00a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery. Immediately following will be a reception at Hillcrest Church, 9 Mile Road in the Northwest Hall.

James R. Booker

James R. Booker passed away on Monday February 2, 2026. James was born on September 25, 1950, in Pensacola, Florida to John and Emma Booker.
James was always very kind & loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed gardening, he spent countless hours with his granddaughter looking through his coin collection and putting them in books. He also spent many hours building his model car collection and building shelves to put them on display.
James was preceded in death by his parents John and Emma Booker, brothers Lyol and John (Clemmie) Booker & sister Martha Kelly.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Kathy, son James (Jimmy), granddaughter Emmalynn Booker, and sister Francis Wilkinson (George), sisters in law Lynda Booker, Linda Melton, and Beth McGowan, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
James spent many years in the grocery retail business beginning at Barnes supermarket as a teenager then moving to Jitney Jungle and ending at Walmart where he remained for 25 years.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to all of our friends, neighbors and co-workers for all of your love, prayers, kind words, visits, cards, phone calls and food. They have all been very much appreciated during this difficult time.

Frank Michael Dellaccio

Frank Michael “Mike” Dellaccio, 72, of Atmore, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on March 6, 2026.
Mike was born on March 25, 1953, in Pensacola, Florida, to Joseph and Catherine Dellaccio. He became a resident of Atmore at the age of two and spent most of his life there. Mike attended Escambia County
schools, where he played both baseball and football, although baseball was always his favorite sport. In 1970, he met the love of his life, Diane Ardis, and the two shared a loving marriage for 53 years.
Mike began working at Elmore when he was just 16 years old. Throughout his adult life, he worked for several companies, including Sunbelt Chemical and Swift Lumber. He was known as a hardworking man
who took pride in providing for his family. He enjoyed playing golf and tennis, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mike had a special gift for making people laugh and
bringing joy to those around him. His sense of humor and warm personality made every day brighter for the people who knew him.
Mike was a member of Saint Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Atmore.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Dellaccio; his daughters Stephanie Skipper (John Skipper), Jennifer Rutherford (Christopher Rutherford), and Holly Young (Adam Young); and his six grandchildren,
Brooke Presley (Michael Hipa), Macey Jones, Adilyn Jones, Logan Young, Leah Young, and Lauren Young, all of Atmore.
He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren, Kinnedy McCarthy, Kyndall McCarthy, Tracen Hipa, and Teelen Hipa.
Additional survivors include his brothers Douglas Dellaccio of Birmingham and Joseph Dellaccio of New Orleans, along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dellaccio Sr.; his mother, Catherine Dellaccio; and his sister, JoAnn Pugh (“Sissy”).
Mike will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong work ethic, and his ability to make others laugh. His presence brought joy to those around him, and he will be deeply missed by all who
knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s memory to the American Lung Association and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Brenda Mae Simmons Wiggins

Brenda Mae Simmons Wiggins, 75, of McDavid, FL, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Pensacola, FL. Brenda was born on June 30, 1950, to Charlie Alexander Simmons and Verna Mae Darby.
Brenda was a seamstress with Vanity Fair and enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was lovingly known as “Crazy Silly Nana”.
She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and loved fellowship and cooking at church.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Jerry Darnell Wiggins; and siblings, Billy Simmons, Wade Simmons, Linda Findley, and Clyde Simmons.
She is survived by her son, Randy Wiggins of McDavid, FL; daughters, Alicia Wiggins (Tony Godwin) of Brewton, AL, Sherry Wiggins (Kenneth) Roley of Davisville, FL; her brother, David Simmons of Jay, FL; and her sister, Patricia “Patsy” (Arthur) Harrington of Louisiana. Brenda is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tyler Roley officiating.
Interment will follow at Crary Memorial Cemetery in McDavid, FL.

Madison Juanita Lundy

Madison Juanita Lundy, a beloved resident of Atmore, Alabama, passed away on March 2, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida at the age of 28. Born on September 2, 1997, in Brewton, Alabama,
Madison brought joy to those around her as a caring homemaker. She had a passion for music, often expressing herself through singing and playing guitar. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her young daughter, Chloe, who was the light of her life. Madison’s warm spirit and love for her family will always be remembered.
Madison is survived by her daughter, Chloe, and many other family members who hold her memory dear. She leaves behind her mother, Melissa Lowery; brothers Dakota Lundy of Pensacola, Florida and Sean Lundy of Montgomery, Alabama; sister Whitney Davis of Atmore, Alabama; and cherished nieces and nephews, including Wyatt Davis, Colby Johnson, Bailey Echols, Santana Lundy, Brooklyn Lundy, and Cheyenne Lundy.
Madison was also preceded in death by her father, Paul Zane Lundy, and brother, Randall Lundy. Her family and friends will continue to celebrate her life and the love she brought into the world.
Graveside and burial services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Semirah Springs Cemetery.
