Barbara Ann Woodard, 65, passed away October 19, 2010. She was born November 13, 1944, in Pensacola, Florida.
She served faithfully in her church for many years and touched many lives with her sweet spirit and strong faith.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; son, Kevin Woodard; daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Joe Minieri; six grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Darrell Elenburg; brother and sister-in-law, Dwain and Pat Dockens; brother and sister-in-law, Chet and Nancy Dockens; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2010 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Pastor Keith Mott officiating. Interment will follow at Christian Home Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5:30 pm to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 24 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North.
Jennie B. Farmer

Jennie B. Farmer, age 78, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She attended Bratt Church of Christ for many years before moving to Tennessee where she attended Calvary Way Church in Murfreesboro, TN. She retired from Monsanto Textile Company. She was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Hoover Smith; her second husband, Bill Farmer; son, Jimmy Smith; two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children, Paula Bradley, Alan Smith (Mary) and David Smith; grandchildren, Chris Bradley (Tonya), Kevin Bradley, Paul Bradley (Creasha), John Bradley, Aasron Oxendine (Jacy), Lisa Welch (Mike), Kayla Smith, Allie Smith, Shannon Smith, Hillary Smith and Colton Smith; two brothers; five sisters, daughter-in-law, Marie Smith.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Ivy F. Peavy, 97, of Baldwin County, died Tuesday October 18, 2010, in Daphne, AL.
Mrs. Peavy was born November 2, 1912 in Escambia County, FL and was a resident for many years before moving to Baldwin County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie David Peavy, sons, Carlton A. Peavy,Kenneth Peavy, daughter, Joyce Vaughn.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Harry Peavy, of Spanish Fort, AL, Wilton Peavy, of Mobile,AL, and Leonard Peavy, of Bay Minette, AL, brother, Fernie Faircloth, of Bratt, FL, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 am Friday October 22, 2010 at Faith Chapel North with Rev. Terry Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm Thursday October 21, 2010.

Mr F.P. “Skippy” White, 69, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010, at his Pollard residence. Mr. White served as a State Representative for a number of years and was a member of Pollard United Methodist Church. Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents Rufus W. and Mary Beth White, and a brother, Don White.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara White of Pollard; two sons, Todd White and Hugh White, both of Pollard; and a daughter, Sarah Ann Fountain of Pollard; two brothers, Mickey White of Pensacola, and John White of Brewton; and a number of grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Pollard.
Visitation will be held at Flomaton Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

William Samuel Pritchett

William Samuel Pritchett, 85, of Century died Saturday October 16, 2010, in Jay.
He was born in Century on September 12, 1925, to the late Robert F. and Lucy V. Ridgeway Pritchett. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War, also was a member of the First Baptist Church of Century and a resident of Century Care Center. He retired from International Paper Company in 1984.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Hunter Pritchett and R.J. “Pete” Pritchett; and two sisters, Estelle Pritchett and Edna White.
Graveside services were Monday October 18, 2010, at 3 p.m. in Green Acres Cemetery in Brewton with Jerry Keese officiating.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Judy Dianne Bondurant

Mrs. Judy Dianne Bondurant, age 59, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 in a Pensacola hospital.
Mrs. Bondurant was a native and long time resident of Flomaton, and had lived for a short time in Century. She was employed as a teller at Escambia County Bank. Mrs. Bondurant was a member of Catawba Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Bondurant of Flomaton; her father, Hughie Jernigan of Century; a son, Jeffrey J. Bondurant of Albuquerque, NM; a sister, Joan Mize of Flomaton; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Mize-Wadkins Cemetery.
Visitation was held at Flomaton Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Dewey Bondurant, Jr., Lee Jernigan, Earnie White, Danny White, Pat Carden, Jim McCutchin, Darrell Kalichak, and Larry White.
Ruth T.Godwin

Ruth T.Godwin passed away at age 87 on October 11, 2010. She was born in Isabel, South Dakota, on March 29th, 1923, and moved to Davisville in the mid 1920’s where she lived the remainder of her life and peacefully passed away in her home with family members by her side.
While living her full and complete life, she was involved with and contributed in many ways to individuals, the community, and the state. She graduated from Ernest Ward High School in 1941 where she was valedictorian of her class. She was also a member of the National Honor Society of her secondary school. Her adult life, she spent her time as a full time wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and her husband built and worked their farm, and she was also a bookkeeper. She had many community involvements; a few that she was most proud of were her membership in The Davisville Community Club, The Democratic Committee, The Florida Library Association, The Pensacola Library Association, and the Florida Panhandle Gem & Mineral Society, Inc. She also organized the Walk for Lawton Chiles that started in Century. Ruth was the first woman to serve on the Escambia County Civil Service Board, appointed by Governor Chiles. All of these memberships and contributions were just a part of her dedication to the community that she loved and served.
Mrs. Ruth T. Godwin was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Vonzie C. Godwin; as well as her parents, Samual and Anna (Oetken) Tichi; two sisters, Doris T. Rigby and Nancy P. Tichi; and her granddaughter Aimee K. Godwin.
She is survived by three children, Sharon G. Davis, husband Jimmie; John V. Godwin, Sr., wife Deborah; Michael G. Godwin, wife Renee; and Dennis Rigby, wife Sherri. Along with her children, she leaves many additional family members including brother Samuel Tichi, wife Theresa; grandchildren, Doug Davis, wife Jeannine; Brian Davis, wife Susie; Rebecca Hall, husband Rob; John Godwin, Jr., wife Dawn; Karen Jay, husband Frank; Bradley Godwin, wife Terina; Katherine Escudero, husband Cristian; Josh Godwin, wife Brandy; Kristi Hughes, husband John; Chad Rigby; as well as 19 great grandchildren. Other family members that will miss her dearly are Don and Emma Hart, special friend Gertrude Bradley.
A memorial service will be held in honor of the life of Mrs. Ruth T. Godwin on Thursday October 14, 2010, at 2 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Atmore with Rev. Jim Reece officiating.

Timothy John Watts

Timothy John Watts, 53, of Cantonment, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Tim was born on March 20, 1957, in Pensacola, Florida. He was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Tim was a “die hard” Gator fan!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Howard and Eva Watts.
He was a loving and devoted husband, dad, and grandfather. Tim is survived by his wife and best friend, Rhonda Watts; his little princess, Kacy (Cory) Mothershed; his sons, Aaron (Jenny) Watts, Jeff (Kelly) Ervin, beloved granddaughter, Lauren Watts; and foster child, Makayla Hamm.
Tim is survived by his sisters Connie (Bob) Echols, Shirley (Buford) Kidd; a brother, Howard “Bubba” Watts (Gloria); a sister in law Beth (Randy) Carmichael; and his parents in law, Bill and Joann Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a large, loving extended family.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at Heritage Baptist Church on Thursday evening at 6 .pm. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening at Faith Chapel North from 5 p.m. to 8p.m.

Mrs. Eleanor “Kitty” Hadaway Kimmons, 76, of Century passed away Saturday evening October 9, 2010, at a Pensacola health care facility after an extended illness. Mrs. Kimmons was a native of Mobile and had lived in the Hudson Hill community for a number of years coming from Byrneville. Mrs. Kimmons was a member of the Gospel Light Temple and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas R. (Jan) Kimmons of Pensacola, Fla., Benny E. (Lynn) Kimmons of Jay, Fla., and Joseph W. Kimmons of Century; her daughters, Mary E. (James) Williamson of Jay, and Rhonda K. Talbot of Brewton; her brothers, Carl Hadaway of Mobile and Lynnwood Hadaway of Saraland; a sister, Medora Howard of Texas; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kimmons was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Earl Kimmons Sr.; one son, Marvin Earl Kimmons Jr.; and a daughter, Debra Jean Kimmons.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening October 12, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Inc,.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor “Kitty” Hadaway Kimmons are scheduled for Wednesday morning October 13, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with Rev. James Gay and Rev. Clifton Emmons officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Chapel Assembly Of God Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
