Jeanene Murphy Hadley, 78, of Pensacola, our precious Mother went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, after a long fight with cancer.
She has joined her loved ones by being reunited with husband, Hubert Hadley; parents, James Steve and Martha Murphy; brother, Don Murphy; and nephew, Shan Murphy.
Mother loved to laugh and tease. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Our world will never be the same without Granny Ha Ha.
She leaves to cherish many sweet memories her daughters and “sons”, Janie and Rick Malbeck of Milton, FL and Donna and Ben Porter of Molino, FL; a granddaughter, Sandra Porter, who was very dear to her heart; brothers, Jr. and Yvonne Murphy, George Ray and Sharon Murphy; sister in law, Eileen Murphy; along with many special nieces, nephews and friends.
She was loved and we will miss her greatly.
The family wishes to thank everyone for the many prayers and the staff on 4th floor north at West Florida Hospital. Your love and compassion for Mother was amazing and appreciated.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM at Lewis Funeral Home, Pace Chapel on Sunday November 4, 2012 with Bro. Robert Porter and Bro. Ron Carnley, officiating. Interment will be at 11AM Monday, November 5, 2012 at Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Steve Murphy, Ron Coulter, Bobby Porter, Larry Houck, Bro. Robert Driver and Dillon Vardeman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Murphy and the men at Farm Hill Holiness Church.

Jimmie Eugene “Gene” Curry

Mr. Jimmie Eugene “Gene” Curry, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in Fairhope.
Mr. Curry was a native of Bay Minette and a resident of Perdido for the past 39 years. He was a lumber stacker at Swift Lumber Co. He did lawn care and landscaping. He kept up Perdido Baptist Cemetery for 25 years, Perdido Baptist Church, the Post Office and Masonic Lodge with real dedication. He attended the Perdido Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian “Bounce” Curry of Perdido; three stepsons, Johnny Weekley of Perdido, Freddie (Patricia) Weekley of Perdido and Harold (Debbie) Weekley of Perdido; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Perdido Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Klotz officiating.
Burial will follow at the Perdido Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2012, from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Perdido Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ingrid McHenry, 71, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012, in Brewton.
Mrs. McHenry was a native of Neunkirchen Kries Ottweiler, Germany, former resident of Century and has resided in Barnett Crossroads for the past 12 years. She was a loving and caring mother, cared for others as well and was an avid fisherman. Her husband, Felton Harvey Jones, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her two sons, Mark Edward (Diane) Jones of Milton and Cory Austin McHenry of Atmore; one daughter, Fedelia Jones Davis of Robertsdale; best friend, Tasha Grant of Century and six grandchildren, Kyle Lee Atkins, Kameron Austin Davis, Sommer Alexis Davis, Deanna Marie McHenry, Sophie Dee McHenry and Kenzie Elizabeth McHenry.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Harold Brown officiating.

Mrs. Annie Mae Aaron Sheeler, 78, passed away on Monday, October 29 2012 in Atmore.
Mrs. Sheeler was a native of Monroeville and resident of Atmore for the past 30 years. Mrs. Sheeler retired from Vanity Fair after 30 years of service.
Survivors include her two sons, Nick Aaron of Atmore and Randy Aaron of Phillipsville, AL; two daughters, Sharee (Rodger) Shivers of Bay Minette and Shelia (Jack) Lambeth of Walnut Hill; sister, Ruth Rodella of Downey, CA; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Hadley and Rev. Linda Shiver officiating.
Burial will follow at the Conway Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Aaron, Randal Aaron, Steven Ross, Shane Ellsworth, Scott Francis and J.D. Duddy.

Mr. Leonard L. Donald, Sr., 92, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012. in Bay Minette.
Mr. Donald was a native of Pensacola and a resident of Nokomis, AL, since 1941. He was a member of the Nokomis Baptist Church were he was s past deacon, Sunday School teacher, Sunday School director and Training Union director. He was a veteran of World War II, retired from civil service, retired from Teledyne after 10 years of service and he loved to fish.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Jane Donald and one son, Buford Donald.
Survivors include his two sons, Leonard L. (Milner) Donald, Jr. of Atmore, and Billy Wayne (Frankie) Donald of Atmore; daughter, Vickie Donald of Atmore; ine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Pruitt and Rev. Houston Gill officiating.
Burial will follow at Serenity Garden Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 1 p.m. until funeral time.
Pallbearers will be Mark Presley, Don Smith, Dale Robison, Roger Prewett, Ricky Fore and Daryl Williams.

Reinhold Herman Bodtke 87, of Atmore, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, in Century.
He was born December 25, 1924, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He joined the United States Navy on July 23, 1942. He was an Electrician’s Mate and received the Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal (2 Stars) and American Area Campaign Medal. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy on April 28, 1946. He then worked at Acme Steel in Chicago through 1957. He retired from Chemstrand/Monsanto/Solutia in 1989. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Grace Ann Bodtke and his wife of 63 years, Linda Joyce Cobb Bodtke, whom he married on March 29, 1949.
He is survived by his sons; Jeff (Wanda) Bodtke of Hoover, AL. and Jim (Brenda) Bodtke of Bratt; grandsons, James Howard (Harmony) Bodtke, Jr., Benjamin Richard (Dawn) Bodtke and Kevin Vance (Ginger) Phillips; granddaughters, Jennifer Leigh (Michael) Robinson, Katrina Ward and Christy LeAnn (Richard) Peek, great-grandchildren, Jamison, Grace Ann, Kadence, Harleigh, Cameron, Emma, Jaylee, Ashayla, Nora, Vance, Rosson, Alexandra, Grey and Genevieve.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Atmore with Dr. John Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Richard “Pop” John Harigel , 67, of Molino passed away October 25, 2012, in Atmore.
He was born December 11, 1944, in Pensacola to the late Vincent and Ethel Harigel. He was a graduate of Tate High School. He was self-employed in the restaurant business.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Freddy and V.J. Harigel. He served in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his sons, Sean (Cindy) Harigel of Pace, Dr. Shane (Dawn) Harigel of Molino, Shannon (Brandy) Harigel of Molino, Malcolm Harigel of Molino, Dr. Sheldon (Kim) Harigel of Bratt, and Cody (Deanna) Harigel of Pensacola; sisters; Glenda Gulsby and Judy Herring both of Molino, Godparents W.C. and Doris Barnhill of Molino and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 27, 2012, from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Daniels and Rev. Rob Hines officiating. Burial followed at Pugh’s Chapel Cemetery in Molino. Pallbearers were his sons.

Darlene Janette “Bubba” Diamond, a longtime resident of Jay, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on March 1, 1939, in Birmingham to Dovie and Mardis Gidden. She was a member of Jay United Methodist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to those that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
She was survived by her husband of 54 years, Wallace Diamond; son, Eddie (Margaret) Diamond; daughters; Amanda (Douglas) Ard, and Marybeth (Jeff) Slade; grandchildren Ashley Slade, Will Diamond, Trinty and Linda.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Jay United Methodist Church with Rev. Lara Weant and Pastor Johnny Johnson officiating.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m.. Jay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Florine Blackwell Knowles, 89, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. in Prattville, Ala.
Mrs. Knowles was a native of Range, Ala., and a resident of Flomaton since 1956. Mrs. Knowles attended the Flomaton Pentacostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Knowles and two sons, Paul Knowles and Wayne Knowles.
Survivors include her four sons, Edmond (Luverne) Knowles of Flomaton, Edward Knowles of Flomaton, Raybon (Louise) Knowles of Byrneville and Donald (Yvonne) of Jackson, Ala.; one daughter, Jean Knowles of Prattville; two brothers, Cecil (Bobbie) Blackwell of Range, Ala., and Mason Blackwell of East Brewton; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Homer Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Lanier Mose Myrick, 89, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012, in Pensacola.
Mr. Myrick was a native and resident of Canoe and a resident of Fairhope for most of his life. Mr. Myrick was a Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by two sons, John (Lori) Myrick of Pensacola and Paul (Karen) Myrick of Fairhope; one daughter, Patricia (Curt) Cloninger of Deluth, GA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Myrick Family Cemetery with Rev. Gordon Milstead officiating.
