Mr. Kenneth Marvin White, age 78, passed away, Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Pensacola, FL. He was a native of Atmore, Alabama and resident of Flomaton, Alabama for the past 36 years. He was a member of Bethel Church.

Mr. White was an avid fisherman and hunter, he also enjoyed watching Swamp People and Andy Griffith. His favorite thing to do was spending time with family and friends especially when the family could get together and eat. He was also a very skilled carpenter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Marvin (Jesse Bell Buck) White, wife, Ruby White, wife, Dottie Mae White, three brothers, Bobby Glenn White, Gordon Riley White, and William Edward “Billy” White.

He is survived by his two sons, Wade (Toni) White, of Uriah, AL; Jason White, of Flomaton, AL; two brothers, George Larry (Shirley) White, of Huxford, AL; Wesley Lamar White, of Atmore, AL: two sisters, Glenda Yvonne Lord, Atmore, AL;’ Shelia Diane White (David) Moye, of Andalusia, AL; four grandchildren, Alicyn Nicole White, Kenneth Caleb White, Elizabeth Ann White, Landon Jason White, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC. with Bro. Joel White officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 21,2024 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC.

Pallbearers will be Tim White, Steve White, Kenneth Caleb White, Landon White, Dylan White, and Gage White.

Ardis Rolin, age 87, of Atmore, AL passed away on June 14, 2024. He was born on August 20, 1936 in Atmore, AL to Woodrow Rolin and Estelle McGhee Rolin. He loved his family and his church. He was a lifelong member of New Home United Pentecostal Church and a proud member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.  He was a pulpwood driver and an avid fisherman and gardener.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Clarence Leon Rolin, Pedrow Rolin and Charlene Weaver.

He is survived by his spouse of 65 years, Hazel Rackard Rolin of Atmore, AL; his children: Rhonda (Todd) Linam of Nokomis, AL, Susan Rolin of Atmore, AL, Felicia “Lisa” Parker of Atmore, AL and Edward “Eddie” Rolin of Pensacola, FL; his siblings: Ralph Pearson of Poarch, AL, Marvin (Kim) Rolin of MI, Carl Rolin of Milton, FL, Stella Rutherford of Poarch, AL, Eloise Hall of Nokomis, AL, Joyce (Daniel) Philyaw of Huxford, AL and Ethel Walker of Atmore, AL; his grandchildren: Brittany Linam, Caleb Linam, Ethan Linam and Riley Parker and his nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Breceda and Bro. Dustin Hall officiating. Interment will follow in New Home Cemetery in Poarch, AL.

Barbara Faye Jenkins Aspinwall

Barbara Faye Jenkins Aspinwall, 72, passed from this life to eternal life on June 12, 2024. She has joined her son, Christopher, parents Ernest and Georgia Mae, and brothers Emory, Billy Ray, and Morris in heaven. A native of Georgia, she lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida, and was a long-time resident of Pensacola. She had a long and varied career in banking, working for Atlantic Bank, First Union, Wachovia, Gulf Winds Credit Union, and Navy Federal Credit Union.

Mom met Dad while pursuing one of her passions, bowling, in 1980 and they were married for 42 years. She enjoyed traveling, playing slot machines, bunco, and monthly lunches with her friends. Mom was also passionate about college football. To quote her, GO GATORS!

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Earl Aspinwall, daughter Lisa (Buddy) Yates; sister, Patricia (Thomas Clayton) Cox; sister-in-law, Von Jenkins; grandson Trey Yates, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 S. Highway 29, Cantonment, Florida. Burial will take place at 10:00 am on June 20, 2024, at Aspinwall Cemetery, Odum, Georgia.

Stephen Breyden Freeman, 21 of Davisville, FL passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

He was born on May 12, 2003 in Pensacola, FL to Steve Freeman and Monica Freeman.

Breyden was a 2021 graduate of Northview High School and worked at P&R Mining. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Marshall Lassitter and his uncle, Jack Lassitter

He was selfless and always was thinking of others. As an Organ Donor he was able to save five lives. He enjoyed music, time with family and friends and playing with his son Sawyer.

He is survived by his father Steve Freeman; his mother Monica Lassiter Freeman; grandparents Bobby and Patricia Powell Freeman and Theresa Cleveland. His son, Sawyer Freeman, and his special friend and Sawyer’s mother, Jasmine Bryant. Brother and mentor Kolten (Chasity) Reid; brothers, Trent (Jessica) Freeman; Brannon (Grayson) Freeman; Chasen (Hannah) Freeman. Special Aunt, Tennelle Horning; and his aunt Kathy (Hub) Wilson. Jerry Dian Goodwyn, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born November 4, 1953, in Evergreen, Alabama, to Evelyn (Thomas) Riley and Carey Milliner. She was married to Collis Goodwin, III, for 16 years. Jerry worked as an independent housekeeper for several families over the years. She was a member of Restoration Worship Center. Jerry had a passion for ceramics, decorating and she was family oriented.

Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn (Thomas) Riley and Carey Milliner; grandparents, Willie Clyde (WC) and Azzie Lee Thomas; brothers, Willie Clyde Thomas, Jr., Nimrod Evans, Gary Evans, and Jeffrey Horne; and nephew, Jarvis Horne.

Her memories and legacy will be cherished by her daughter, Latasha Goodwyn; loving grandchildren, Zayne and Zaiden Goodwyn; sisters, Brenda Evans, Kimberly Horne and Marion Horne; brother, Ronald Horne; uncle James Rogers; cousin, Terry Thomas; and a host of nieces, and nephews. She also leaves to cherish her the extensive god family to include Kim Clarke, Latecia (Sandy) Pusha, Zoey and Zuri Pusha, and a chosen sister and best friend, Delores Gardner.

Mrs. Brenda Stewart Spence, age 83, passed away peacefully in Pensacola, Florida with her family by her bedside on June 17, 2024 , after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was a native of Phillipsville, Alabama and a resident of Pineville Florida for the past 67 years.

Mrs. Spence loved her family and would do anything for them. She spent many years as a preschool teacher sharing her love with others. She loved to cook especially to make cakes, pies and divinity candy. She also spent countless hours doing word search books. Most of all she taught her children and grandchildren to be strong.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years and 11 months Alton Spence; parents Frank Johnson & Mattie Bell Downey Stewart; 6 Sisters, Christine Heathcock, Frances Hadley, Dorothy Goodson, Evelyn Goins, Jeannette Fickling & Annette McCullough; 6 brothers, Frank Stewart Jr., Edward Stewart, Everette Stewart, Ivan Stewart, Winston Stewart, & Calvin Stewart; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her children, Howard Spence of Walnut Hill, Florida & Connie (Wendell) Harden of Harvest, Alabama grandchildren, Jessica Ingram of Walnut Hill, Florida, Gunnar Harden of Portland, Oregon, Hunter Spence of Walnut Hill, Florida, Fisher Spence of Atmore, Alabama & Savannah Spence of Atmore Alabama; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Agnes Christine Odom, age 79, passed away, Thursday, June 13, 2024, at her home in Flomaton, Alabama; with her loving family at her bedside. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Mrs. Odom enjoyed crocheting and knitting, along with being an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Watching Olive Baptist Church on TV was something she greatly enjoyed doing. She was an amazing wife, mom and grandmother. She loved traveling to the Smoky Mountain with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and owner of A&R Fireworks in Daphne, Alabama.

She is preceded by her parents, Joseph Wesley (Laura Viola Childress) Johnson, one sister, Lois Kennedy, great-grandson, Austin Munro, and great-granddaughter, Blanca Alana Burgess.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Roy Odom, of Flomaton, AL; two sons, Greg (Suzy) Odom, of Flomaton, AL; Keith (Charlene) Odom, of Flomaton, AL; one brother, Sammy (Linda) Johnson, of Flomaton, AL; four sisters, Jean Donnelly, of Robertsdale, AL; Ruby Ward, of Hendersonville, TN; Eulene Enfinger, of Flomaton, AL; Diane (Danny) Killam, Flomaton, AL; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great – great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Marlin “Bama” Bolt, 81, of Cantonment, Florida, passed away June 3, 2024. He was born in Wedowee, Alabama on December 23, 1942 to Earlie and Odessa Bolt. Bama had a career in welding for CCSI Mechanical Contractor. Bama had a passion for motorcycles, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earlie and Odessa Bolt; spouse, JoAnn Daniel Bolt; and grandson, Cody Harlan.

He is survived by his daughters, Leah Harlan, Beth (Kevin) Owen, and Tabitha (Wesley) Hughes; grandchildren, Dustin Harlan, Baylee and Bradley Owen, Danielle and Sierra Nolen, Kaydence Wood, and Logan Hughes; seven great grandchildren.

She was the owner of Word of God Book Store. She participated in prison ministry and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Atmore Community Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elbert (Eb) Morris and her siblings, Gloria Smith and Joyce Bolden.
