National Day Of Prayer Events Today

National Day of Prayer events are planned today in Atmore, Century, Pensacola and Molino:

Atmore

Events will be held as follows:

5:30 p.m. – Community Prayer Service, Escambia County High School Gym
5:30 – 6:45 p.m. – Children’s Prayer Service, K-6, accompanied by an adult ECHS, RPM trailer
6:15 p.m. – Bible Reading – ECHS Gym

Century

A National Day of Prayer event will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center on West Highway 4. Everyone is invited to attend.

Molino

The sanctuary at Highland Baptist Church will be open for prayer from 6 a.m until 7 p.m.

Pensacola

Pensacola’s 25th National Day of Prayer will be held at the Pensacola City Hall at 222 West Main Street from noon until 1 p.m. Special worship from Leah Bridge Taylor of Calvary Chapel of Gulf Breeze.

Tate FFA Rodeo Friday, Saturday

The Tate FFA Alumni Foundation will presenti their 25th annual rodeo at the James C. Robinson Escambia County Equestrian Center this Friday and Saturday.  The rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. both days.

Advance tickets are available at Farm and Nursery Mart, Hill Kelly Dodge, Farm Bureau Insurance (Nine Mile and Molino), Jimmy’s Grill, and Barnes Ace Hardware. Tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for children in advance and $10 and $5 at the gate.

There is also a Special Rodeo for special needs children on Saturday at 9 a.m. A pancake breakfast will be held prior to the Special Rodeo at 8 a.m.

Jay Pro Rodeo Saturday Night

April 30, 2016

The 14th Annual Jay Pro Rodeo will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. at Ted May Arena in Jay.

The 3R Rodeo Company will entertain the crowd with rodeo action including pro bull riding, saddle broncing, calf and team roping, steer wrestling, and women’s breakaway and barrel racing.  For the little ones, there’s the calf scramble and more. There will also be plenty of great food available at the concession stand and from local vendors

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. All proceeds benefit area youth program through the Jay High School SGA.
